Downgrading Airtel xtream plan.How should I be charged?

Downgraded Airtel Xtream plan from 942 to 499 in middle of the month. Still I got the bill as old one i.e 942. I want to know how does this billing apply, it should have charged me for the remaining days as per the new 499 plan.

It adjusts the balance by giving extra days

as far as i know, they charge on per day basis. so, u should be charged per 942 plan for few days and 499 for the remaining

Have you got any confirmation (or check plan in spp?) that you are indeed on 499 plan?

I checked on it's website and it shows 499 plan as active! But they have charged me 946 for this bill. Even though the speed reduced as soon as we changed the plan!
