Drink Prime Water Purifier Purchase Plan Feedback

Hello Dimers,
Need help to decide whether I should purchase Drink Prime RO Purifier which I have been using for the last two years as rental program.
I am satisfied with the water quality and service so far.
Just few weeks ago they mentioned they can offer me to purchase the same unit at 6000 INR, with one year AMC free.
So is it worth? Has anyone tried such things with Drink Prime or Livpure in the past? Even if I continue on recharge plan, I will pay the same amount in the next one year. 500 monthly. So from long term this deal looks good. Will appreciate your feedback on the same.
TIA.

22g maintaining RO cost a lot where u get absurd quality of water, instead of paying for maintenance charges, filter and so on, better pay fix price of 5-6k/year and raise as many tickets as u like, get filter change etc for free.

Thanks buddy for your feedback. As I mentioned, I don't see any issue with water quality and I haven't changed the filter for the last 2 years as my water consumption is less , hardly 3200 litres . And their filter supports upto 5-6k litres of the water before they replace it. So I can get it changed next year in AMC plan as well.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback.
To start with, this is the url of the brand:
https://drinkpr...in
It is the competitor of Livpure, and the company is based out of Bangalore, I am also at the same location.
Coming to cost, 12k is already paid as part of monthly subscription. 1.5k was security deposit. So I need to pay only 4.5k to purchase this unit. I tried to negotiate further however they can reduce it max by 500rs if I do one time payment. Else 4.5k can be paid inno cost emi option as well. The refundable deposit of 1.5k won't be returned and that I would be considered as the purchase cost. Hence I mentioned 6k in the initial post.
First year AMC is free and from second year onwards it maybe between 2.5-3k.
Current scenario for me: If I continue on rental plan, then also I need to pay the same amount or probably bit more. But if I purchase this unit, then my emi cost would be less than monthly rental. So it looks like a good deal. However even I am not sure if there is any risk on this or if there is any hidden agenda by the brand. So I thought of taking the feedback from Dimers here as they are mostly helpful.
