cost wise which is better considering if you only want to see hindi entertainment channel and FTA channels in HD? is there is some good offer for 6 month or 12 month?
After installation of thop and oreo TV, I am not able to watch live TV. It is asking to enter airtel or jio number. How can I skip this / shall I enter my mobile number?

A jio giga fiber connection with silver plan (Rs. 1000) or a broadband with monthly charges around 600 and a firetv stick can make all hassles gone. off course one gets around 200-600 gb data per month (depending upon connection) optimal for tv as well as home broadband use.
Best is DD Free Dish. If majority or significant users use it, TV Channels will be forced to come on free dish. There is no point in paying so much money on Idiot Box and over and above that pay 18% GST tax to government evry month. We need to learn to live tax free and imported goods free life.
This also does not need internet to operate so less global warming and again savings on monthly fees and taxes…
DD Free Dish full setup will cost you as low as ₹1200 to ₹2500 based on your choice of equipment. And it is One Time…so pay back period is as low as 3-6 months. Go for it….
The drawback is I cannot see the paid channel. Let’s say for IPL I need star sports. Adding a pay channel should be the option in free dish like in other DTH. It’s win-win situation for broadcaster & consumer. Why is it not implemented yet? who is stopping them?
Commercialization and Capitalism is stopping them. However when significant number of people will have DD Free Dish, Channels will be forced to become FTA and come on DD Dish. Anyways even after taking money from us they give hell lot of advertisements, it’s their main income.
Tatasky account can be temperorily blocked when you are out of town or may be using other service like JioFiber. So the account balance in Tata sky is also saved for those many days.

Cable Operators are a curse to the society and economy. They show only 50% of their income for taxes. Most of the public opt for basic regional free channels that is available on cable, so they never show the real income for taxes. You are depriving the Govt from Entertainment tax and Income Tax viz a viz GST from these cable operators by choosing Cable. Final Verdict: Most of them are Cheaters.

Tata sky is the best. You can edit the pack anytime. They have the best pack of all kind which is affordable and if you add a channel and remove it within 24 hours then there is no any deductions. NFC charges are 153 which you have to pay to which you’l get basic channels. On top of that you can add channels. I have a monthly pack of 169 including the nfc charge of 153. 169 is what gets deducted from my account every month.
Ab humlog hai kaam dhanda wala aadmi, thodi na harvwaqt tv pe dekhte rahnge. I am a sports and english movies/series lover. Whenever i want to watch something i add those channels and make sure to remove it within 24 hours. Sometimes i add them for 2-3 hours and then Drop the channels. Nothing gets deducted. I am enjoying this ghip ghap life for so long and its just so convenient and affordable. Also tata sky customer care is top notch. Also we have tata sky WhatsApp services. Tata sky is the best man. Hands down!!! 
Get HD set top box.. you’l have to pay 200-300 more as compared to the normal box… I am enjoying all HD channels for paying almost nothing and thats something amazing!!
