Why in hot deals ?
Isn’t it hot enough
I bought a bluetooth device from Amazon on 20th March…It was stuck in Blue Dart & now Amazon showing returning to seller… It already reached my city…They could have returned it earlier & get me the refund but now from 20th April, services may resume & they are now returning it to the seller…
By the way, I just called Amazon & they told me that they have no such info about starting the service on 20th…They told me that their services will only resume after the lockdown ends…
Really?😮
He forgot to mention that it’s not confirmed…
The link he shared mentions E-Commerce Can Start On April 20….
@ Op Please don’t provide unofficial news…Even the link you provided mentions it CAN start…People will be misguided by your thread title…I just talked to Amazon customer support & they clearly told that they have got no news like this & they will only resume services after the lockdown ends…
Still they won’t deliver to the house and only to the gate. Can’t imagine carrying huge loads from the gate especially in big societies where the gates are like 0.5 km away from the building.
20th April maybe a bit too fast, but they should start the service especially for essential items. And essential items mean essential items, I see that body lotions, almonds, raisins are available, but pulses, sugar, oil are not. Bunch of nonsense.
Those essential items might be getting oos more frequently than those almonds and creams. May be thats why we are seeing these useless items always available, but not those essential items.
Mobile phones, televisions, refrigerators, laptops and stationary items will be allowed to be sold through e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal from April 20 during lockdown: Officials. PTI

New Delhi: Some industries in rural areas, e-commerce, IT and farming will be allowed after April 20, the government said today in new guidelines a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended the nationwide coronavirus lockdown till May 3 and said restrictions would be relaxed after a week in the least infected parts of India. The government says it will also allow the construction of roads and buildings in rural areas and the manufacture of IT hardware to reduce the distress of millions during a prolonged lockdown to slow the spread of coronavirus. States will be responsible for ensuring that all safety and social distancing protocols are in place, the home ministry guidelines say. The exemptions won’t apply to hotspots — areas with a large number of COVID-19 cases or showing a rapid rise in infection. PM Modi extended the restrictions as India crossed 10,000 coronavirus cases despite a 21-day lockdown.
