My father works as contractor Hindi teacher for USA firm.
Since he is contractor there is no EPF history.
Which is the easiest credit card to get.
Check if he has any pre approved cards showing viz.
Hdfc account
Icici account
Then try if pre approved Amazon , Airtel, Flipkart
Lastly he can take any fd based instant cards
idfc shoould be easy
he is using canara bank account as his main account.
he doesn't use any private bank account.
Maybe generating Add-on card from your credit card!
Open an account in a private bank like HDFC for pre approved offer.
If CIBIL score already exists, you can try to get some cards via an agent example: SBI Cards.
