Trying to figure the purpose this thread serves or Is this some sort of self promotion?

Problem I faced :
Now unfortunately I can’t stand the sight of SCHOOL being spelled as SKOOL.

Indias education system and teaching is one of the best but due to overpopulation competition is fierce and guardians should understand that every child is not in brilliant category and they should encourage them and also support them if they take path away from study to do something.

First of all reservation shall be removed from everywhere (of course you can keep it in govt schools, and thats enough)
It really feels sad to see those so called EWS people who could own an iphone but still cant pay the school fees and use the reservation and then those who are given a privilege just because they belong to so and so caste (its better to remove the castes altogether and just identify the person with his/her first name, thats still better than the current system)
Dont take it otherwise, but thats how i feel, india could never succeed with this stupidity called reservation
And i was really shocked to see the cut offs of DU (its same everywhere) for reservation category, for a seat in general category you need 95% and for the same seat in reservation you are good to go at 45%, sheer foolishness

History shouldn’t be subject in our education..as it always changes mind of different communities. Insecurity always raises after knowing history. Eg- let’s say British they ruled for so many years, so after reading history of our British India some may be hard on Britishers. Let’s say muslim they ruled after 1200, for 400-600 year so when they read about greatness of muslim Empire so in some sections of mind they are willing to reach that status. Same goes for Hindu ( we can say the glory of Mauryan Empire and gupta Empire). So the history is main region for inter religion conflict. They should always focus on science, math, literature and co curricular activities (like every one should have do art or sports), praticle knowledge. And also there should be mandatory military service for 2 year. It will teach disciplines to students.

For Financial growth one need skills like communication skills, vocab, English, and some soft skills…
I see many doing MBA from wrost Colleges and today they earn far more than a one thought …
Just because they work on their skill and attitude…

Mzaa aana chahiye..Feel hona chahiye ki kuch pda hai , smjh bhi aaya hai , dusre ko smjha bhi skte hai.

Don’t u think what to select after school or college is a problem or choosing a job in which area???

I ll talk about practical things only, which are experienced by me.
I have seen a ton of brilliant students.
What do they do?
They study at school.
Then go to college, if they choose science then they study physics, chemistry, mathematics and maybe biology.
I ll talk about science stream only because I spent my years there.
Well, whenever I ask myself or my friends regarding the choice of biology as an option their answers ll be like I wanna be either a doctor or an engineer. I just wanna keep my options open.
I am like hell, man. I was just like that only.
Then after 10+2, entrance exams to various disciplines occurs. For science stream there are two. Either engineering exam or medicine exam.
I have seen people try hard for 3-4 years to study in medicine then they do engineering.
Then majority gets admitted to engineering.
Then because of lack of interest, I ll not blame the educational system, people waste 4 years.
Regardless of the stream, people take jobs at IT.
Some brilliant people, take coaching for gate n IES
Practical people prepare for Banking n SSC.
Then they keep on blaming on their jobs for the disappointments in their lives.
That was my rant. In the next post I ll pose some solutions

Important Updates Needed in Education System.

-Focus in teaching on “what is Right & Wrong” from what is “Legal & Illegal”
-More Practical education, Less theory.
Add Skill Development, improvement etc in Primary Education.

Fundamental Improvements Needed
Link Teachers salary with Students Fees in Private schools (setup salary-fees formulas so that undue variation wont affect the salary)

My solution. One has to make one’s mind since early school days about one’s life path.
1)Schools should be more activity oriented. More labs, I mean out of 100% science periods, 60-70% should be lab oriented.
2) Documentation, such as lab record writing should be minimised.
3) Proper English should be taught. I mean, we learn grammatically correct English in most schools. But phonetically correct English should be taught at state run schools
4) English is the best language. One should not be allowed to have this myth since early childhood. Teachers do that. If that was correct, our Indian students, who go to Germany to study, wouldn’t have to learn German. I have not seen a country, who praises English as much as we do. In France you speak French. In Netherlands you speak Dutch, Deutsche etc. Yes the problem in India is a proper standardized language. Everyone is blinded by their own ego. One nation one language has to be set up. And people should be encouraged to learn in their mother tongues first. I read, write, speak 6-7 languages fluently because I have a very grip on my mother tongue. @Simbha3 @LIMBO (Odia bhari badhia)
5) Entrance exams are tough. They should be tough. I mean Google is run by IIT Kharagpur student Mr Pichai. But students should know their strength n weaknesses. You ask a fish to climb tree. If the fish fails, you keep on asking the fish to never give up. It’s stupid, right. You should teach the fish to swim upstream, downstream etc. Now one gonna say what about special forces guys. Then you need to run, shoot n kill. And fish and tree were just metaphors.
6. One must be very clear about life. I see people are like you study for 4 years and you get a job n you ll be set. That’s not true. You ll never be set. Death, marriage, pregnancy etc ll never let you fully set. So, living in the moment should be promoted. That’s why, people are so corrupt here. They think they have put so much work n they deserve this. It’s bad.
7. In Engineering colleges Electrical, Electronics, computer science and IT should be merged as one stream. It’s very confusing n stupid way to segregate streams. You design semiconductor based circuits, use them in both electrical n electronics systems. Both electrical n electronics systems are used to be programmed using computer science and IT. Everything is so connected.
8) Career paths are not that hard to follow. I mean wasting 4 years of engineering and taking classes from 7am to 7-8pm everyday at Made Easy and ACE is so stupid, vulgar, idiotic and shameful. Come on. Every semester couple of subjects are being taught. People do masti all the time because it’s cool. Well if one must study to clear Gate n IES then why not try since day one.
9) proper text books are friends. Books might not be everything but books are something n can’t be replaced. By books I mean ebook, physical book, notes etc. I really don’t understand why Indian authered books are so hard to read. In real life the auther is a brilliant teacher but chooses to write a shit book. Compare foreign national authors with Indian ones. You ll know the difference. You design a book that makes you feel like stupid n you complain about mediocrity. Come on.
10) Hard work beats talent. It’s true. But a bit of interest is also needed.
11) I see students try to be lone wolves since student days. They ll sit on the front bench and treat the back benchers like they are nothing. They should understand team work is real work. Let’s take an example. Royal Enfield bullet is the right candidate. It got engine, fuel injection, gears, sprockets, chains, fuel mapping electronics, firmware chip, brakes. I mean it’s a fantastic combination of electrical, electronics, computer science, mechanical, chemical engineering along with marketing, etc etc. One can’t be a lone wolf. People should be more inclined to leadership based training. People think that successful leader was born like that. That person did everything correctly and look now. The person is a boss. That’s nonsense.
12) Students think they are entitled to everything. That’s not true. One has to work one’s ass off. And to be able to do that, one has to understand the way system work n develop a thick skin to tolerate abuse.
13) There a lot of things man. I m tired mentioning them. But people should be knowledge focused. They should do internships throughout their student Career. I think, how beautiful it will be for electrical n electronics engineering students to work as interns at small electronics shops to learn to repair electronics, small appliances. I ll not talk about learn Sankrit stuff. Whatever I am saying is very doable. But our students think they are so privileged that they would refuse to work. Parents teach that evil things. You wanna be an engineer but don’t know how to solder even after becoming one, shame. It ll look so beautiful on resume when one writes I have completed engineering and I have practical knowledge on this this n this. Damn man. It’s needed. That’s how entrepreneurs are born. People think we ll study so big, we ll be big n then we ll become entrepreneurs.
Physical exercises are very important. And sex education is really needed. Mental health issues should be dealt by a proper therapist.
Boys should be taught that girls are not evil, witches. Boys are made more misogynistic in schools. They sit in different places. And girls too derive funny ideas about boys. However girls mature fast n boys remain pappus.
And cultural knowledge should be shared. One should respect ones culture. At least one should not disrespect the word sanskar.
Edit: money management is a real skill. Family values are very important. No job is big or small. Let’s take rear sprockets off our bullet 350, it won’t run on road anymore. We should respect every job holders.
And choice of friends is going to change one’s life, people need to understand that. Dan Penã says, you show me your friends, I ll show you what you ll become.
One must know what one wants. You can’t be a doctor, engineer, fighter, soldier, navy dude, pilot, scientists at once( like Johny Sins 🤪🤪🤪). Students should keep it in their brains.
And one must respect the process instead of the results. That’s it. I am fine with rest of the curriculum n stuff

1. Sports has to be compulsory everyday
- not just  cricket,football

2. Homework should be very minimal
- If someone does not do homework it should mean he did not understand the concept properly or do not like to do homework and both can be resolved. 1st by teaching in a better way that students understand and second by giving interesting homework that brings interest in subject.

3. I don’t understand why make schools make boys sit seperately from girls.
- I think doing otherwise can make boys understand girls better(and vice versa) and will not feel shy to talk to them. It will definitely change the way many people think.

4. Discussions, Debates(or even essay writing) starting from easy topics or even on what’s taught in the class.
-It helps in various ways like understanding the concept much better and more clearly, there will no longer be introverts, brings confidence etc.

5. Computer skills.
-very important as we all know, it’s next to food, water and sleep these days

6. Discipline
- But not senseless,useless rules which can’t be justified. For example a rule like “don’t talk to others during break period”,  wtf is that rule?

7. Teachers
- Someone who does the above and other good ways to teach.

8. Frequent Competitions
- like drawing, story telling, music, dance, sports tournaments etc.
- All students must be encouraged to participate
- Also students should be informed about various competitive exams/talent tests like national science olympiad , international maths olympiad , junior science olympiad, NTSE etc.

9. Parents
- should always support and help their kids.
- should not pressurize kids after a certain limit.
- have healthy atmosphere at home.
- allow kids to have their own time for some time after coming home and don’t bother them after the kid’s work is done.

If I have to recall I never had any/much pressure at home on me but I ALWAYS aced my exams and always got first rank during my school days.(sadly I no longer get good grades in my B.Tech(may be because i stay in hostel away from parents in home, that’s why and also i became quite opposite to what i was during school xD ) but i still enjoy life)

(My JEE percentile when I attempted Mains was 99.98 . Not boasting, just telling how healthy and correct atmosphere at home and school/college can be helpful)

Happy and very thankful to my parents for joining me in THE BEST schools in my city  even though my father could have just joined me in a school with lesser fees .

I had almost everything I wrote above in my school other than sports (I had less than 3-4 sports(outdoor) periods after my 6th class)

I can clearly see a difference in the way I think, moral values, greediness and behaviour when I see many other students/people.

school is just a business model nowadays

doesn’t impart quality education neither the way of life

costly books stationary burdened with unwanted assignments extra expenses on unnecessary things no focus on explaining the concepts whatsoever.

major reason students are struggling for job.

they can’t even fill any application form properly.
