Received mail from citi saying " effective 07-Jan-2021, Citi will no longer accept VMT payments received towards your Citi Visa Credit card" ,

Does this mean we won’t be able to make citi CC bill payment using Mobikwik/Paytm/Amazon/Cred etc ?

Vmt = visa money transfer.. Meaning you won’t be able to pay via debit card.. That’s my understanding could be wrong

Actually –
VMT Facility offers Account Holder/ User online funds transfer either through ATM or through Online Bank Portal from the Card issued by the Bank to any other VISA debit or credit card issued by the Bank / any other bank.

Last month Paid 1000 twice using mobikwik it shows as vmt in cc statement
Paid 2.5k and 9k that shows as neft.
So may be for smaller amounts they use vmt.
