Hello Friends
I am planning to buy a electric scooter.
My weekly usage will be 80-100km.
Have been exploring Ola and TVS iQube.
Please let me know if you have any good/bad experience and also which variant to choose for above brands, or any other brands to consider.
1. Do they offer exchange with old ICE scooter, selling old scooter on OLX or other ways is a hassle. Scooter is 13.5 years old.
2. For the charging do they help with wiring at home? My house is on second floor. How much would it cost to set this up.
3. Insurance should be avoided from dealer and take online , would they allow it?
4. Payment options, which CC that can help me get good discount.
5. Any other things that should I discuss/negotiate with dealer.

That is like comparing mom made food and maggi.
On a side note, the other day.. found myself riding pillion with someone whose scooterette felt a bit odd.
It transpired that he had got their regular (petrol) fuel scooterette retrofitted with the EV modification kit from god knows whom and where!
I was like, sir, I remembered other work I had to do nearby.. so I will get down here.
I did 👆🏼this👆🏼 after i asked in the most concerned tone about the RTO registration getting void and this thing requiring re-certification .. and he was like.. hmm, but they (RTO) do not approve it.
He simply continued using the old registration plate and claimed that he never got confronted by traffic cops.
It was in a medium sized town with zero regard for discipline or civic sense in general.
Point is, that now-a-days there is so much buzz on EVa everywhere that even the locally assembled models sell like hot cakes, thus it is unlikely for the dealers to offer much discounts.. at most they might increase the alleged freebies.
If ride comfort or handling is not a big concern, roads/traffic would not be horrible and only the driver themselves will be riding the scooterette.. only then might Ola make do.. that too only because of the low usage you put (about 12-13 kilometres per day on an average).
Are Bajaj too offering a 5 year battery coverage for free? If so then at what costs for the vehicle?
Following... Need similar info as op
Electronic scooter is not recommended as per your usage. Better stick with ICE. It will give you better ROI.
Go for iQube for no fuss experience. If you want Ola, only go for the Pro Gen 2 version.
Mr too shortlisted iQube... Any review on Rivera Indie or Ather Ritz?
Anyone has experience with exchange of scooter while buying any EV scooter
