Anybody has recent experience of importing computer processors motherbiard hard disk?

Beyond how much value customs duty is levied?

one mother board and hard disk is gonna be bought.. Customs rate shows hard disk is no duty due to trade aGreement.

Seller will send via post. Origin Singapore or China

in elections time they didnt charge any duty on 3 of my packages. each package cost was around 30$. normally they charge around 30% for the same

if its small item, ask seller to put 12.75$ or something 

for big packages it as usual robbery no need to even ask

Better buy in india unless you know someone who can bring along with them. Taxes are huge and not worth buying

I would say to ask the seller for marking lower value..Never ever worth it to do anything legally in this country! I had cough up 50% duty recently on astronomy goods from the UK. It was a necessary purchase so i had to place the order...but not worth it if you can manage without the item.

Request your vendor to mention the product price less than $5 on the invoice.

I've recently bought laptop, pc products and returned one item.

The origin countries were China, US, Taiwan, Vietnam.
