Now a days uber driver are angry and acting like ola . Want cash, destination. Cancel at will. Uber lost control as taking too much commission. Fares are high. Ac not on by drive. It seems u can’t rely on these aggregator now. Atmanirbhar bano

True. I just paid a bill of Rs 1867 for Uber rental ( which had Rs 200 timesprime discount ), so logically it was Rs 2067 trip. And Driver showed me in his app that he got Rs 1300 only. How is this possible!!

I booked an Uber for my relative in a different city. It was prepaid(to be deducted from Amazon pay balance).
Driver demanded cash at the end of the trip despite knowing it was prepaid and my relative paid as they were in a hurry.
I raised a complaint and Uber added the whole trip amount in my wallet, in less than 15 minutes.

Untrained rude greedy 420 driver is the reaon no one wants ola/uber ,on the flip side bus/metro journey is economical and tension free

They make roudiness proud in cancelling ride even when it is the source of their bread and butter

If driver cancelling ride is not taken seriously by ola/uber they will be finished or reduced to occasional

recently I have noticed driver calling upfront to ask for destination, after they find its nearby they cancel it.. Also now a days cars in both ola and uber are not good.. wasn’t the case before now they are untidy, smelly 8 out of 10 times…. Quality has degraded a lot…

Just tell me one thing, how the hell can I report a driver who cancels a ride right after calling me, without giving the slightest hint that he’s about to cancel it? I am asking for OLA. There’s no report option under the booked rides.

Well, its the greediness of drivers….i took ola outstation and as per govt rule the ola car also had toll fasttag, while crossing, driver told me i hvae to pay 150₹ ,i said its only 70₹… He said no prices are changed now ,govt have increased it, i said bro everywhere it is written that its 70₹ , also show me the message on ur mob, he said thta mob is at his home….same argument while returning….also, he was asking for cash at cng station , he got his mobile recharged from me…and took 1000₹ in phonepe by saying he has to pay to someone… seriously..what’s going on…all this when we haven’t completed even one side, they drive without even a single penny in their pocket …..their cab their rules, total unreliable , its us (youth) who are still adjusting and managing, i dont think any old age /female are comfortable with these kind of demands….

Uber auto cost is also high. If you go in sharing auto, it costs only 10rs but ola/uber costs 60rs. Moreover if its not a busy area no one arrives

I completely blame the drivers. They will accept a trip and then once they see destination, they will cancel it. Also the “5 min” away thing shown in app is a scam and one should. never believe it. For someone in Mumbai like me, unless I am getting a great deal with ola / uber and am ok to wait, I just go on road and flag an auto rikshaw and I am off to my destination.
And for people who don’t know, autos in Mumbai ply as per meter and almost never ask more. Once an auto asked me (before boarding) to pay 1.5x charge of meter. I laughed on his face and took next one.

These people are doing wrong with their own bread and butter and they are themselves responsible for their situation.

Yes…Earlier OLA drivers always demanded cash for the ride…Now Uber drivers also do the same.
Also earlier Uber drivers rarely used to refuse rides..now they refuse and cancel rides.

Yep, its happening with me from ages, but left with no option. Recently i booked cab for 24kms, and the amount was 900rs, when i got a call he asked to pay in cash or hes not coming. And same thing happened many times, if we pay online, literally they go on say, why u pay online, u shld give cash..untill unles strong competitor comes, no change

only those customer are trapped who dont have alternative , take a bus/auto/metro/train dont book a ola/uber till they bring pool back coz of their losses

once pool is back these cab driver will see single ride as bliss ,and wont cancel it

Why don’t Uber/Ola should show them destination and payment mode beforehand and penalize later if they cancel.
Drivers might not accept my rides immediately but once accepted I can expect smooth trip

Just when he was dropping me.
Another customer promot came to him and it was clearly written Payment mode : Cash.
Apart from that no more information was shown to him.

I don’t travel much by ola/uber. Whenever booked it went smooth so far.
But
If they are cancelling rides, then is it not that ola/uber can stop drivers or have any kind of cancel limit ?

cancel limit is 5/day , so if a driver cancel make sure to report thru email/app/phone you are contributing towards 1/5th of his cancel quota

Many many and maximum times, uber driver always cancel the ride after calling for destination. Also last week I had some surgery in Delhi. Uber driver clearly denied to switch on ac, even I said that sweating can cause infection to my surgery and it was a long trip. He can clearly see my bandage n all, still denied rudely. I said stop the car, cancel the trip. Then i hv raised complaint, uber refunded money. I had to take metro in that surgery situation. Not sure where uber is heading to.

hamare yahs to itne harami hote hai ki puchhte hai sir app me kitna bata raha. aap boli 500 to bolte hai sir bahut kam hai 700 cash de do to chalunga. fir apne jan pahchan wale driver ko call karta hu wo 400 me hi pahucha deta hai.

I came to know from uber driver that they have made uber rental compulsory to accept since they are planning to increase such a model.

Even for 1 destination i take rental bcoz its cheap due to TP 200 off code wink

Uber experience few days back in Bangalore. First driver asked for destination and said am coming and cancelled, Second driver did same. Third driver was dropping someone before my pickup,I waited for 15 minutes,then he called and asked destination n cancelled. Wasted 45minutes in this game.

Don’t have to wait for the company settlement cycle. Also, daily expenses including fuel needs to be taken care which is usually in cash.

Uber / Ola is at fault here … they promised drivers 1L per/month income  , in starting they gave many perks too , to both drivers as well as customers . 

Many bought cars on loan to become drivers .

Sooner / latter reality came in picture … now welcome to real world and stop dreaming .
