Ethical, professional concerns in the way Ola Electric has treated all this?

EV scooterette marketeer Ola Electric kept trying to wriggling  out.

But even when they finally accepted the fault in their product, defective part

they are not accepting it as a 'recall'.

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏

Largest of brands have had issues with their products.

And even in the non passenger mobility or heavy vehicles industry,  the have product recalls.

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

Within vehicle industry too,all big names have had glitches and deficiencies in their key components.

Volvo famously even had a major recall in their truck manufacturing vertical, many years back.

In-fact even for passenger vehicle division, Volvo is not shy to categorically use the term 'recall'

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎

Contrast this with how Ola Electric has 𝐦𝐢𝐬handled the ongoing issue

and one feels that them not being transparent, them taking so long and then too

refusing to take 'ownership' of the grave concerns 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 in the way they conduct themselves.

Certainly not in their products either.‏‏

The point is they can have all the fun till major players start launching ev as their major products.....

This is India.. Brand value matters....... The day people have options... They will be selling pakodas.... Indian market is brutal.... Even big players have to exit in front of maruti, s brand value.... In 4w segment....

Different businesses sir.

Not directly relevant, unless it is about ethics, moral responsibility.

Like how, the Amazon marketplace are an entirely different business.

But when the authorities in U.S. concluded that the (Malaysia made?) mattresses had issues

Amazon on its own reached out to the buyers.

Even set up help desks to facilitate send8ng a specific type of cover to the owners.

The cover or replacement that would help them comply with the regulatory requirements.‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

Similarly, Amazon Glow was nixxed within a year or so of its launch.

Amazon gave full Refunds to all those who chose to return the device.

(It would anyway not work even as a standalone thing).‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏
