Everyday Jio Data is Automatically getting exhausted by doing light browsing. IN few minutes of browsing 50% getting consumer and again in few time 100%

Where as on Airtel i can see no such thing is happening.

There is no Windows Updates Turned On or Mobile Updates, this thing is happening from last few months.

Don’t know whether Jio is on way to recover money from us. Is any one experiencing this?

i also had such issue before, but found that windows getting 2 updates per week and chrome browsers updating every day (if you’re using beta versions)..

in computer, network => wifi => select your wifi hotspot name => then select as “metered” on
Thats solve the main issue on pc

then check any softwares in beta version ? uninstall and install stable version and click “no updates”

In mobile, uninstall unwanted apps, especially if you have UCbrowser means, as it use data always brab some ads and it do something behind us, so uninstall ucbrowser first..

Whatsapp ka backup daily schedule to nahin hai?
Most probably some apps in background are consuming the data. Have you tried resetting the same?

For windows PC try using glasswire. It shows usage in great detail. If your PC is sucking up the data you will get to know which app/process exactly is the problem.

Looks like apps are using data in background. Check data usage of each app or install firewall and whitelist only those apps which really need to access internet. Do it on both phone and pc. You will find culprit.
Note: you can’t stop update in Windows 10. Regardless of your setting, it will install critical updates (maybe recommend too). To avoid this choose your connection as metered one.

Same problem is faced with me too. Even after turning off the wifi data it is been used. This makes it funny and suspected that jio is looting its subscribers. Better to switch over to another network whom we can believe.

one can use datally by google or dataeye app and first block all app using data including system and then allowing necessary apps to use data. alternatively try samsung max though jio has banned all its servers, one can try.

Jio consumes my 2 GB data without even using anything. No background apps running no updates. I recharged 21 booster two times and did not use the internet. Suddenly I get a notification that I have consumed 90%data really that’s strange. I feel that I am wasting money on Jio or this is the new way of business. Planned to port out already as this pack gets over. Airtel was always better. So back to Airtel.

I can account for every byte in father’s Jio SIM. Install Glasswire app from PS to check which is guzzling your data.
