I've been reading dimer reports for the last few days regarding SBI CashBack card being issued instantly to people having existing relationship with SBI Cards/Bank... So, I decided to try my luck today through SPRINT platform and yes, got approved, virtual card generated, usable instantly and showing up in SBI Card app/web portal. Physical card would be dispatched in a day or so...

* Looks like due to financial year-ending and last quarter ending soon, they have eased auto card approval through sprint to meet their targets, especially for existing relationships and are giving CB card even to SimplyClick holders which was forbidden just sometime ago... try your luck! *

Things to note if you tend to apply :

- Apply through SPRINT online platform only, not applicable offline in any way...

- Applicable for existing SBI Card holders or SBI bank account holders.

- Have acceptable CIBIL and clean SBICard payment history. Yes, they do a hard CIBIL enquiry...

- No VKYC, extra docs, wait time, physical verification needed.

- Just a selfie, digilocker OTP verification, 1Rupee transaction via bank account (verification).

- Most data is already populated and auto filled in the system, just select and proceed after giving PAN.

- Use same mobile number as your existing card / SBI account.

- Best approval chances when addresses match with current aadhaar address..

- CB card credit limit is around 20% of your current (at least for me, yours may differ). Card limit is independent of existing card, not shared. FYF then renewal fee as usual (see pic).

- Virtual card (VCC) generated immediately and you can set limits and start to use. New card linked to portal/app.

- Better if your existing SBI card is atleast 6 months old and you've received a credit limit increase at least once.

* Referral Benefits - Referal Activated in Deal wiki, after doing a transaction of 500 on your new card, you're eligible for a voucher of 500 from SBI card. *

Earlier I have tried to apply simply save rupay card on sprint but kyc failed, now I tried to apply cashback card on sprint selected cashback card but on kyc page it is showing simply save card, I have opted change card option but still after going to kyc page it is showing simply save card, help me how can I apply, my cibil score is 752, I have sbi savings account and paytm sbi card

* Some are getting errors etc and asking me in DM, you can close sprint page and start fresh after some hours and choose "continue journey" option. They also remind you by sms link later to continue...

Looks like rush of many applications during working hours is impacting server load and also sometimes aadhar otp verification (digilocker) is also under load... continue journey after evening and try in that case... Instant approval might also be impacted due to rush of applications. *

Welcome @Agnivo007 to the SBI cashback club.

By this post it seems SBI has now widened the availability of the cashback card.

So it basically might mean 2 things:
1. They are trying to reach their FY targets fast.
2. They feel they have gone through the test phase of blocking most loopholes and now this can be easily given to all.

My feelings:
* Devaluation coming very fast to this card, after FY is over and they start auditing.
* SBI probably won't extend their FYF offer which ends this march, due to the demand of this card.

Just call up SBI CS and ask for limit restructuring. If you have all card details and are able to use it, I don't think you have to wait. I had done that immediately after getting my cashback card.

SBI CS says it will happen in a day, but it generally happens within minutes.

@tappukepapa @Agnivo007 I have 3 cc's. BOB Easy LTF limit 25k Got in July Last year, SBI SimplyClick Paid 25k limit got Sept Last year and Apay received in Feb this year limit 50k. Latest CIBIL 772 and experian 849. What are my chances of approval. I have getting Pre approved offer for Axis Fk paid but didn't seem of any use if considering SBI cashback.

Worth applying. Cibil is above 770 which is good for applying via sprint. Limit will depend upon your relationship with sbi and your income proof/company.
