the report is true but not sure for dominos
Dominos brought this concept of cheese blend (liquid cheese) in india for their budget range series known as PIZZA Mania
as per recipe they use 10g of mozerella cheese and 25-40g of cheese blend in pizza mania range
cheese blend, as they claim, is not same as mayo and its some kind of blend of liquid cheese (they did not disclose it further)
However after this pizza mania concept, many pizza shops start selling low cost pizza and yes most of them use only mayo, not even cheese blend,
such restaurants are openly selling mayo pizzas even on apps like ubereats and swiggy, thats how those restro make you available super cheesy pizza at much lower price
in cheese burst option they load pizzas with mayo while dominos cheese taste is different than mayo we buy from market
interesting thing is they brought up flavored mayo like jalapeno, piri piri, hot n spicy etc
so always make sure to ask such thing from restaurant owner and chef, mayo is not cheese and if you put it on pizza then better not to call it pizza
Domino’s in India is different than in Europe or US. Their pizza did indeed failed some tests and last year there were some fine imposed on them:

However, thanks to our media there is no further information on what happened next. (Bribe Bribe Bribe LOL!)
Also, the quality of pizza is dependent on the outlet. Sometimes, the pizza from same outlet felt horrible and sometimes it felt like delicious to me. And here in India, they don’t have pre-made dough or quality controlled. It seems every outlet makes dough on their own unlike US.
Most important thing is that Domino’s is required to publish calories, fat, bla bla information in France (Europe), US and not here. They don’t mention anything on their website (watch the French documentary). As mentioned in the documentary, they (Domino’s/KFC) use more sugar, high fat (saturated) here than in West.
They pointed out that India’s poor class is suffering due to lack of food (malnutrition) but middle class is suffering due to bad food due to lack of information.
I guess most people here in India feel proud when they can eat at KFC or Domino’s or similar restaurants. Idk mentality of these people (Maybe I’m wrong!). That’s the advantage taken by these companies.
- A note to all PURE VEGETARIANS : Same person usually does stuffing for both VEG and NON-VEG

(Although, this practice is done in most restaurants selling both VEG and NON-VEG).
On top of that fake flavours(even US has) they say no added msg but there’s substance added with similar property to msg so fake taste too I noticed taste and it felt kinda fake(i cook food too I kinda identify tastes).
in our locality this nice aunty makes great pizzas and other dishes.
Damini’s Pizza has same freshness and hygiene as homemade stuff.

Dominos Cheese does not contain even 20% real cheese,it is made of emulsifiers and chemicals, to make it look and taste like real cheese
there are no food regulations in India that force a restaurant mention exact ingredients of a recipe
