brother, you are overthinking. take it easy, focus on actual tasks. nothing of the sort would happen (someone falsely implicating you will not happen)

Police verification is for ascertaining character so unless the filed fir is of “serious offense”(criminal in nature not civil), it won’t cause any issue(worst case scenario you may have to hire a lawyer to file a response to any query from govt dept regarding this).

P.S. I am guessing most people don’t know about this but there was a case years ago in Delhi where a UPSC aspirant was convicted for rape & an accessory in suicide of the girl & was sentenced to 7 years in prison in Tihar jail but during his jail term he cleared UPSC exam with high enough rank for even IAS/IPS. Delhi High Court then commuted the remaining prison term of the person saying he has “redeemed himself” by clearing UPSC exam. There was a lot of hue & cry by women activists & Commission for Women filed a case in Supreme Court to instruct UPSC to not give any post to the person. Eventually SC declared that it cannot give such a direction to UPSC because there is no legal basis for this as the person cleared the exam fairly but it said that UPSC may choose to decide based on their own guidelines regarding appointment & there it is mentioned that persons being selected to UPSC services must not have a serious character deficiency & based on it UPSC I guess decided not to give the seat to the person. The basis for this “character deficiency” was that even though Delhi High Court commuted/pardoned the remainder of the prison term but it did not reversed the conviction of the person meaning the person will forever remain a convicted rapist in India legally & this is more than enough to be considered as a serious character deficiency not suitable for almost any govt job.
