Fast Tag Scam by the toll booth guy !!

Hi,

My fast tag is active and has sufficient balance, money deducted of ₹135 at 17:21 date 20/11/2024 and then Toll Booth Guy said, fasttag is not active,so he asked me to pay double amount of ₹270 (135+135) with fine at 17:23:52 date 20/11/2024, without checking my account as there were long que, I paid a total of ₹405 instead of ₹135. I have been scammed by double payment by the toll booth guy.

I raised this concern to the NPCI twitter handle, but they replied to contact my fast tag bank department. But this is a different case, how to raise complaint about toll booth guy ? Can anyone help me out.

Do you have a slip of 270rs, complain to nodal nhai with proof that money was deducted from fastag and then you were forced to pay double the price. If no action is taken complain on cpgrams directly to ministry

Faced Same Incident , Money Deducted From Paytm Fastag , But Toll Guy Said They Did Not Received Money And Paid Cash.

Later Sent Receipt To Paytm App Customer Care , They Cross Checked And Refunded Paytm Fastag Balance.

But in my case, money first deducted from Fast tag then Toll Booth Charged double amount (with fine for non availability of fast tag). How can I recover ₹270 out of ₹405 ?
