I have Acko Fastag with a balance of Rs.59. The toll which I pass through is for Rs.41. Yet twice it has complained at the toll booth that I don’t have balance. I called up IDFC and they said that there is a rule that if the remaining balance after deducting the current toll comes out to be less than Rs.100 then it is considered low/no balance and the transaction will not go through.
Is this true?

Today they get a cut on each transaction around 1-2%
during very initial years customer used to get discounts ..all that is gone now

I had initial balance of 100, first time I passed by giving toll of 41. If 100 min balance was the rule, toll booth would have complained no balance that time too. Kya jhol hai yeh 😳

If the balance goes below the threshold, it’s considered as low balance and toll transactions don’t get successful.
