Is there any way to find out average monthly balance of savings accounts of SBI and PNB through internet banking?
For PNB, I could see account type as 'SAVINGS FUND GENERAL' and on their website, there's no such name of savings account. Searched across the whole internet banking website but couldn't find anywhere mentioned AMB/AQB.
Haven't checked for SBI but would like to know if there's any provision for same. I've been keeping Rs. 5k in both the accounts but I feel I'm keeping more than needed. And both the banks will require to visit the branch for a rather simple question. Also, avoiding their illiterate phone banking representatives.
I'm asking this on the assumption that AMB/AQB could be different for different account types which is the case with most of the banks today.

SBI requires 0 MAB, you can check yours based on the money you keep in online banking's account info section

checked SBI's website, all the savings account says MAB/AMB required is NIL
thanks for your input, I was unnecessarily maintaining Rs. 5k since a long time 😬

There's a super premium account variant with unrealistic QAB (no need to even bring that up) and for below account variant, it says Rs. 5,000 as Quarterly Average Balance : https://www.pnbindia.in/PNB-SELECT-SAVING-ACCOU...
So, it can be assumed Rs. 2k is the required QAB but if you're saying it's Rs. 3k, the website could've outdated information which is weird 😱

It's 2k For Delhi. I'm maintaining just ₹2100 to ₹2200 since 2 years. Only sms charges are deducting quarterly. @monu.tanwar123262

I've heard that those charges are for promotional offers but upon enquiring from bank representatives, they say that you won't receive OTP and other important SMSs which is bizarre as those shouldn't be chargeable.
PNB is the only bank wherein I'm charged these SMS charges although I can see it's dropped to Rs. 2 + 18% GST but still, I find it's not something that should even exist as a chargeable thing.

In corona period SBI made MAB for all accounts as 0. Before that they had MAB for each account types.

SBI AMB is Zero
