First of all, every bank in India, whether it’s small or big, gets approval from RBI in order to operate it’s banking services. Same rules apply for SBM bank to as applied to State Bank of India or HDFC or any other bank. SBM aka State Bank of Mauritius, got its license to operate its banking services back in 2018. Now they are simply launching their banking services as a Neo Bank. Its services are as same as NiYO by IDFC First Bank.
