I finished collecting all the 30 cities.
Spent around ₹757 for doing recharges of phones and D2H, which would’ve given me some cashback, at the very least 10%.
So I would say I lost out cashback of ₹75-₹76.

So, my strategy was to do the recharges till I spend ₹1000 so that I can console myself that I would be eligible for atleast ₹101 which the game promised (10% of ₹1000 spent is ₹100, so notional loss nullified).

I got cashback of ₹377 instantly.
So overall happy with it.

I also reduced my unnecessary spending by doing credit card bill payments (an expense which I anyways had to cover) in small tranches on Cred and Amazon and these became 2 different merchant transactions. I also loaded money in my Zerodha.
So, in all, I only tried to go out of my way for the recharges and am glad that this strategy helped me out.

Finally, few gems of people who helped me were @jaybro and @manishalone

I got Kochi in one account from those boxes we get on visiting a certain no. of cities..
Still.pending in other accounts.

I shared the map twice today and got KMs and I was like, I got 10k KMs and don’t need more!
3rd share the map gave me Kochi.
4th share the map gave me Goa scream blush
5th share the map gave me Hyderabad (for the event) smiling_imp.

Then, I did credit card bill pay via the above methods and got Bastar!!
Super stoked morning

I too used GPay after a long time and am really disappointed after using it. It lags while making QR code payments, it doesn’t pay instantly and the failure rates have increased.
If not for this offer, I wouldn’t have noticed that.
