FIR for Someone Not Returning my Money ? Need Help

So, Back in 2019 I purchased a phone for my office mate who was also senior than me on EMI.
Total Price was Rs.12000 and 3 EMI’s.
He paid me only one EMI and after that left company and never gave 2 EMI’s amount.
And even now he hasn’t paid me back remaining 8000 and keeps saying on call that he will give sometime in future.. but that date never comes.
Is there any way I can file a FIR against him?
Hope you learnt a lesson. Move on.
Don’t bother about 8k.
You should take a blank cheque

Even cheques bounce.
OP should have taken some sort of guaranteed.
Plus why did he even had to finance a phone to his senior.
It’s already 3 years now. It’s not worth the hassle .

I think he used a credit card which was issued by the bank to OP and he’s probably paid the 3 emi’s (bank also got the money, so they won’t bother, plus they can also say that expense was not his personal use).
There’s a reason we have bank’s, if someone needs money or cards, they can borrow from the bank.
Many people have and continue to loose money lending neighbour privately at 10-15%, it’s nothing new.
Mere ko bhi koi phone le do.. emi par .. i will return for sure
It’s almost 2021 gone so as ur money too,if fight legally u have to spend more so as last chance ask him to send as much money as he can even triple digit amount too…
Find his current address.. take 2-3 friends and threaten him. That’s the most you can do try to get your money back
.

I have a better idea.
OP should tag his senior, his current co workers and even is company on LinkedIn and copy paste the issue with proof.
I am sure he’ll recover the money 🤑.
If i were him, i peg down krke kar deta mai kab ka.
Tag YogiJi on Twitter if both of you are from UP. He will help you.

Yes… I paid all EMI’s as I didn’t want to ruin my Cibil.

Great move by paying all the EMI’s.
I was also in a similar situation like you a few years ago. A mutual friend ran from his home with some jewels. He needed money so I let him get a gold loan from Muthoot.
That stupid guy did not pay even 1 EMI. At last, I gave him a few warnings and repeated warnings that he needs to close the account as it was generating good interest. He did not take it seriously, I went to the branch and sold his gold.
Faaltu ka tension leke laabh nahi hai.
I suggest you move on with what happened, you can try LinkedIn 😂
Else move on.
I think there is limitation period of 3 years applicable on loan/recovery of money. Means you need to file suit before expiry of 3 years from contract. Otherwise you cannot claim money legally.

If his senior complains to the police, then it will be far more trouble for OP 😂

Apne soocha senior impress ho jayega
Why you waited so long 2019 se 2021 end ho gaya
I think you have no way to recover your lost money
but just give the fellow a call and see if he returns the money.
Usko laga hoga Gift diya hai..
Take it as lesson learnt and move on…..

He is in contact with his senior it seems (going by his post).
Senior giving topi instead of money 😂.
@RaviMehta15 Senior ki beti ko pata lo bhai, ya fir ghar jaake bike/ scooty seize utha le aao. Tell him to bring money else you wont return bike/scooty 🤣

No to impress.. Had a good relation but somehow he left job and then only trouble started. Earlier he used to say he will pay and continuously said that for 2 years just extending timeline..
I have learnt from my personal experiences that :
Never Trust any other person to pay you EMIs, except the person matters to you so much that you can let it go, if not paid.

3 years from the due date, that too in case of written (or any other form which can be proved to have existed) contracts, no law applies in the current case.
Police can still help you through pressure tactics if you know some police officer (At a personal level)
Your type of people made the Govt. make their mind to ban crypto trading. Some people just don’t understand the risk word at all, start asking for a legal way to deal with their own stupidity.

Yes, product is paid for by him with CC which is identifiable with IMEI and transaction no. of his cc. He can claim either product or money legally. He can file stolen phone compliant also. Many ways but tedious for such petty amount.

the guy can easily say that he paid him off in cash. Imei number thing can work provided op has proofs of everything.plus if he has contacts in the police.
