I am looking for a flat in Bangalore through following Channels

Flat and Flatmates (Not suitable for full flat)

No broker (Membership condition and fake contacts)

Any other channels you want to add which could be reliable?

Many of us could be moving back to their workplaces. So this thread would be helpful for them.

There are many such channels (Nestaway, housing, magicbricks & …) but the reliability factor has become much lesser these days (post-pandemic)

The best way imo to find a good flat is to hit the road and scout the flats ourselves. Unlike before, there are To-Let boards everywhere. Even those apartments which never opted this way before and doing it now (In my apartment, 3 or 4 flats out of 20 remained vacant for over 2 years now)

Agrh, this work from home was perfect. Why do companies have to call their employees back. Offices should open but continue to be optional if you can do the same at home

Agree with @getready

You may seek temporary shelter with any of your friends/peers who didn’t vacate and search for flats during evenings/weekends. One of my friend did this way.

You may also check with your contacts in Bangalore if they know of any vacant flats around them.

Everbody is a hit a miss…. Google play store and everywhere you will hear bad about nestaway but i am having very good experience in it… Best to search multiple platforms…. And see what suits you best…. But better dont directly deal with landlord… And don’t give more than two month of deposit… And more than 500 maintenance….
