Flipkart account blocked and My Paylater bill was due.

Hi guys,
I was a Flipkart Plus member from the last 4-5 years. But, around 20 days back, Flipkart had blacklisted my account saying that high number of returns (but, sellers also cancelled many orders).
And as of today, I have sent them dozens of Emails and I had called them so many times. Previously they were saying that my account is absolutely okay and having no issues. There might be some technical issues so I am unable to login and access my Flipkart account. But, today I got a email quoting that my account has been blacklisted due to high no. Of returns.
Now please tell me what to do?
I have begged them so many times to share any link or tell me some procedures to clear my dues of my Flipkart paylater amount. But, they are making calls to clear to my dues, charging penalty on my paylater amount, but not sharing any link or telling any procedures to clear my dues.
Please help me, if there are any options.

I lost Rs.6k with Flipkart, Flipkart blocked my account after I complaint about refund on twitter. And now they are not ready to unblock it. I had Rs.6000 in it.

Using Amazon continuously for the last many years, never had to face any of these inconvenience from their side. Many of my orders were returned from the last mile delivery office during the containment zone restrictions, even I felt bad for them, but Amazon did not block my account.

Some companies want to see their customers as cheats without giving them a benefit of doubt during such situations of unusual product returns. Thought this would change when walmart too over FK, but the same management philosophy seems to be continue, treating everyone as cheats. This attitude should change.

I use my myntra account for 90% returns. I order 30-40 items and then return 30 of them and keep 7-10 items only because I check what I like. I do this 2-3 times a year when I think it’s time to do wardrobe change. Will myntra block my acc?

Not paying due loan will have negative effects on your CIBIL, try to get rid of it asap and in future do not fall for such pay later schemes as availing small loan is not good for credit rating.

Flipkart is pathetic. They themselves cancel so many orders without any reason but when customer does the same then they block their account.

Idea is good, but that concept is outdated now .

Prices are too inflated and with limited choice, it does not make sense for a rational shopper with access to internet to go offline cloth shopping, unless they are shopping to wear at important functions.

that means it is unsafe to keep money in flipkart? I have 10k in it.

Do they refund the money or reactivate the account after some time? Because it is complete fraud if they block the balance of customer.

You must be new here, flipkart has blocked acc with much more money(gv actually because it is not a bank) & supercoins in it & none of it was ever returned even after people threatening to file case in court. Of course most of those people were resellers/abusing flipkart system.

Nope…500 Rs membership option was there. I used it. They just re invented it with coins and rewards in 2018 and removed the 500 rs fee.

Hmm…I have not been using desidime for a year. Earlier I used to keep tabs, but due to over shopping, I removed the app.

But what if the customer is really genuine, and they block their hard earned money?

I won’t be buying GVs of flipkart from now on. Will spend the 10k quickly.

During this covid19 situation, I had placed order for Bluetooth speaker along with memory card, which was later cancelled by Flipkart due to Lockdown, and refunded money to Flipkart wallet without my concern by saying that bank transfer is not working due to some issues with bank account. Afterwards when I complaint regarding this to Flipkart on twitter within next 2 days my account was blocked saying that I have violated there terms and conditions. Till my account is not yet activated, am fed up of calling them again and again. Mode of payment was UPI

That is confiscating customer’s money. And why should customer take the tiresome hassles of calling and contacting support. Who do they think they are? How can they take the money in wallet and then block it. Register complaint on cybercrime.gov.in

I don’t know how effective the cyber crime web service is. But his should do something.
and then msg them on twitter (how many times can they block it).

Placed a supermart order, and the oil packet leaked and messed up the whole order. Flipkart CC stalling the resolution for almost a week. I have photo proof that the order was like this when delivered too. I manually placed return for the whole order to get the refund and got it too. Will I be blocked? If it helps, I’ve returned only like once or twice before, and have placed many orders in the past 3 years

I had complaint it on online consumer forum, but did not solved the issue, they advised me to file complaint in consumer court, i had visited consumer court office 1 week back to file the complaint, but they were talking very rudely, not ready to help and told me to ask questions directly to advocate.

GVs are always limited by T&C of the issuing company/place where they are supposed to be used so nothing legal can be done if flipkart blocks GVs of any amount citing abuse/misuse of their acc unless you can fight a long battle in court to prove otherwise & judging by all the comments here in last 1 year or so, nobody hasn’t. There are some genuine customers also who become collateral damage but it is also a fact that many people did/do abuse flipkart system(& amazon too) & it is just that flipkart is being more strict & this crackdown has also shown improvement in the form of at least having a fighting chance to get a mobile phone in flipkart flash sales without using scripts/addons which is a must for any amazon mobile sale.

Yes gov offices can be like that. There is no real consumer protection in India.

Consumer Court will take a case not enquiries.

I think for that you will need civil lawyer or consumer lawyer. They will draft a case for you, and then they will summon Flipkart if case is accepted. A very lengthy, expensive process for 5-10k. I think that is why many people don’t complaint about them, and they keep confiscating and troubling customers.

But so are usage of all the services around the world are governed by the issuing companies/authority. So t&c will always be biased of issuers.

Yes in case of misuse they should block post payments and returns of such customers but not the balances. And why the collateral damage, people lose money due to this.

There are people here who claimed to have ordered 80-90 mobiles from flipkart before their acc was banned & then they complained here. Similarly there were people buying 50k to 1.50 lakh worth of amazon/flipkart vouchers(now only amazon) in various card offers & then reselling them or using them to buy mobiles for resell etc. Flipkart had to do something about this as it is just not financially viable for them to continue like this unlike amazon which has much deeper pockets(even after walmart takeover, before the gap was even bigger).
