Hi everyone,Recently flipkart and amazon replacement policy has changed. It has been reduced to 7 days instead of 10 days.
This is for the mobile and electronic items. For Television and large appliances I think it is still 10 days.
Mostly after the sale or during the sale it got changed. Is this due to the current pandemic?

Yes, Earlier it was 30 days but due to malpractice by customers they reduced it to 10 days.

🤦🏻‍♂😭 such things
and brands themselves (especially the exclusive launches) not happy with erosion of brand value (too many second-hand devices during early months, in general negative feedbacks) had to tighten the screws with the sellers
and sellers too were after the portals to not have such anti-seller, unilateral policies.

someone was mentioning that till about February of 2016, at-least Amazon allowed remorse returns (no questions asked returns) even for high end electronics https://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/...
but then even they have a limit… to the extent that they can bleed themselves.

Soon there will be no return option , considering the amount of misuse in the indian market.
