Flipkart-AXIS-VISA LTF for those who are already holding Flipkart-AXIS-Master Card…
Here is my story, try your luck by applying from one of your friend/relative’s flipkart app. Once you get the VISA approved, close the older Master Card variant.
Let me give you some context by telling my story:
1. AXIS Neo LTF since 2017: still active
2. AXIS ASAP savings since 2017 with minuscule balance.
3. AXIS Flikpart since Sept 2019
4. AXIS FK upgraded to ACE in March 2021
5. AXIS FK closed in mid July 2021
6. AXIS FK still showing in Flipkart app, although not available for transaction, quite obviously.
7. Hence, the LTF offer on my FK app redirects me to my dead card, instead of the offer page.
8. Re-applied for LTF AX FK VISA through a family-member’s FK app.
9. KYC completed.
10. Kept my fingers crossed.
11. Update: My AXIS FK VISA card has been approved. New card showing in AXIS Mobile Banking app.
Pro tip: You may change the flipkart number of your relative to your own prior to applying, this way verification calls and OTPs will come to your number.
Warning: Don’t change your relative’s flipkart registration number, this will remove/disable the offer from the FK account. Many users have reported to have spoiled the offer trying this.
Downside is: see update#2 my entire AXIS relationship number has been changed to my relatives FK number. Have to update them all manually. I should have preemptively changed my family member’s FK number to mine. I didn’t do this beforehand. Will have to change this later on, once the card is delivered.
Update #2: I called axis enquiring about to which number my OTPs will come. It seems that they have added my spouse’s number to my Axis Portfolio after this new application via her FK account. But, that number has been tagged as “Secondary”. So, all OTPs would continue to be sent on my primary number, including for my upcoming AX-FK_VISA. So, no more headbanging to get the number update reversed. Stay in peace…
Approximate Timeline with a new Application: (I am excluding cases of instant card generation)
1. Find a relative/friend with whom you are okay sharing your private data related to shopping/card usage.
→ Can take anywhere between 1 min to a lifetime.
2. Convince that relative/friend that they may get untimely OTPs/calls, and sacrifice their offer for you.
→ Again, an take anywhere between 1 min to an eternity.
3. Filing application on FK app.
→anywhere between 1 min to 10 mins.
4. Appointment for physical/vkyc:
→anywhere between 1 day to 3days if you have an AXIS relationship already. May take longer, if you don’t have an existing relationship with AXIS. They may physically visit your home and office. between 5-10 days.
5. P-KYC/V-KYC to Acknowledgement:
→ 3 days at current trend.
6. Acknowledgement to Decision (accept/decline):
→ 0 – 5 days at current trend. 0 days for those who already hold a premium AXIS card like ACE OR probably AX_FK_MC (give a try 
).
7. You can see the card on AXIS Phone Banking App (i.e. for current AXIS users): Full details are not displayed, so you can’t still use the card.
→ 0 days
8. Confirmation and linking card in flipkart app
→ I don’t know (You can use the card at this step), again may need to lick your friend’s boot once again to hand you over their phone again..
9. ALWAYS Confirm from AXIS about which number(s) your OTP will come: otherwise your friend may rob your a$$.
→ as soon as you can.
10. Physical card delivery
→ I don’t know
Yes. Talk with bank cc.
If they ask you to apply for visa varient and close mastercard, gently request them that you are not comfortable with it.
It will impact your credit ratings unnecessarily, so ask them to convert current mastercard varient to ltf. Negotiate/convince them.
They have accepted my request…will update post further communication by the bank

The idea clicked a little too late.
I thought, I’d be able to enter my number during the application process. But, that field was read-only.
Avoid these mobile number changes with Axis
It will be nightmare to correct it. One place mobile number will be different another place different
And their team will be clueless
I’ve requested axis to convert my axis fk to lifetime free or convert it to visa varient but got a single line response : It’s completely depends on bank policy we cannot make your card ltf nor we change it to visa.
You can close the card and reapply again.
Most of my colleagues reported the same. @b4tm4n seems to have been a miraculous exception. All others have been outright denied. Including me in the past. I closed my AX-FK-MC not out of choice, but because of the denial by AXIS to turn it LTF. Otherwsie I had to bear both ACE and FK-AX annual fees… That would have been irrational.
The downside of applying from relatives Flipkart account is that our card will be permanently linked with their account and all card transactions/cashbacks will be shown in thier account. Isn’t it ?

Even after you revert the number to your own. Same is true for addon cards for family members.
Such privacy concerns are valid in both cases.
Initially I received below message when I contacted Axis Bank cc.
Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting Axis Bank. Your service request number is xxxx – Axis Bank.
With reference of above request number, I once again connected with cc today.
As per communication with cc, they will replace my existing card with visa varient.
The card details will be same like previous card.
They have verified my card’s last 4 digits, address and monthly limit.
The new visa card will be ltf as per the confirmation given by cc.
Received below message today.
Your request no xxxxx related to credit card replacement is received and will be completed within 1 working days – Axis Bank.
I just now called again to cc for verifying whether it’s ltf or not. They have confirmed it as ltf.

Why people applying Flipkart axis card from secondary number i didn’t understand.
I think Managing otp and account with other number create lot of headache. Just for lifetime free didn’t mean that sifting phone number.

Some of the existing flipkart accounts with decent transactions are only not getting the option to Apply. Highly doubt, new account getting the option. But try your luck.

I applied in the Flipkart app. Document pickup is scheduled but they are only asking for ID and address proof.

Ideally they would. Otherwise rejection may occur.
Income proof (Salary slip/ITR) is a mandatory requirement.
If your documents have already been collected, sans the income proof, you should immediately call the person who collected your documents (you must have got his number). Tell him that he may have missed it. Get his email id and send him your income proof as attachment to an email. Request him to attach the file while performing his uploads.
I sent most of my documents as PDF to the agent’s email.

@-LEAD-DEAL- I have Gpay Axis Ace cc last month. Hv made purchases through it but the first month bill is yet to be generated. Problem is I had applied for FK Axis in 2019 but it got rejected. So, cannot apply LTF this time as it keep saying “Sorry message” from FK app.
Can you tell me if I can get FK Axis LTF via customer care based on my Gpay Axis Ace card? I tried checking relative FK accounts but it says “Coming soon” for them

If you get flipkart axis card via customer care/axis branch/axis site then it won’t be ltf. To get it ltf you must apply via a flipkart account. If relative acc also not showing apply link then try some other relatives in same city.
4. Appointment for physical/vkyc:
→anywhere between 1 day to 3days if you have an AXIS relationship already. May take longer, if you don’t have an existing relationship with AXIS. They may physically visit your home and office. between 5-10 days.
Above need some modification as people confirmed that those already having axis bank account didn’t even get the option to do kyc as long as number in flipkart acc same as number linked to axis bank account & application directly submitted with result either card instantly approved/generated or wait for few days to get the final approval/rejection(haven’t seen such case yet).

Spoke with CC, they said no option to convert my existing AXIS FK CC to LTF but they can give me an LTF My Zone and close FK Axis. Not sure whether I should go for it.

Most important factor is flipkart AI calculation of your flipkart account through which application is made. Also itr needs to match with cibil report. Btw when did you file 4.5 lakh itr when holding no job/just start doing job.
@pranavcool , your situation becomes quite tricky, mate.
You need to have either of the two for a sure-shot approval on a premium card such as AX-FK-VISA/MC:
(a) stable income by salary from a steady job: ideally for more than a year.
OR
(b) self employed with good amount of ITR consistently for a couple of years.
Honestly speaking, you are relatively unlikely to get an approval, if you apply on your own PAN.
Regarding your mother’s chances of approval:
We don’t know if aunty has a credit rating profile (CIBIL-TU/Experian). If she has/had a repaid/ongoing secured loan of any kind and its being paid back timely, it is highly likely that she has a good credit profile. Besides that, if she reports a stable income (4.5L is good enough as an amount), chances of approval remains good. Only deterrent can be the age factor: cards catered in the “online shopping category” are more easily approved towards people of early-to-mid career. That sticks out as a downside. But, no harm in trying.
Remember: calls and televerifications have to be atteneded by her ONLY. I hope she will be comfortable with those.

I hope, there won’t be any issue. Try your luck. Don’t close existing AX-FK MC card until Visa variant gets approved.
Keep your hopes high. Nothing to lose, no matter what the outcome is. Bet on your luck.
Since, you already have MC variant, your credit ratings and income criteria are strong enough.
So, high chances of clearing the bar this time either.

You can try that option.
Having an existing premium card active almost makes it a certainty that your AX-FK-V will get approved.
Can’t quite predict what might happen if you close your card and then seek another. You may try and share your findings. It is possible that things will go smooth even with your approach. i.e. closure will probably not adversely impact your chances for a fresh approval.
Its just my perception/educated guess. There is an element of risk involved without a doubt.

I just applied Fk Axis card through my Axis app ( as an upgrade, I have Myzone LTF )and got to know about this offer. Requested for cancelation immediately, they called me today after 10 working days and tried to convince me by giving 2500 RP, but I asked them to cancel, they said OK.
So they are not giving LTF for the existing users.
Now my Dad has got sms from FK regarding this LTF, but not me.
Apply using your dad’s number and your own KYC details from his app, (if he allows and more importantly, you are comfortable to bare it all of your purchase history to your dad. 
). He will be able to track you card usage using his app, basics can be seen even without OTP. So, even after you change your card’s primary number, your virtual card will still be in your dad’s pocket (read FK app). And he will be conveniently able to track you for life. Enjoy LTF espionage…

Those we all who hold master card Flipkart axis card shall make Flipkart to know how they cheated us. We should all rant in social media and with customer care until our cards are made life time free.
You can surely try that. But, note down two points:
1. Your rant would be no more significant that petitions filed on change.org
2. All companies are entitled to cater “limited period offers”. If you make a purchase today, and FK gives out a flash discount tomorrow on the same item, you can’t sue them. Yes. You can certainly cancel and reorder….
