I wonder the same. As they are calling Snapdragon one as S21FE 2023, does that mean support starts from this year? If that's the case, one year extra of updates.

No. US people have had support since early 2022 for the same device. They wont give 1 more update just for a single region. In this case Bharat. So, they better discontinue the exynos model and sell sd at the same price. SD 888 also had thermal issues afaik. So, buying SD for 10k more doesn't make any sense to me.

I certainly don't believe so. We own / have owned nearly a dozen Samsungs at our house with almost all of them being Exynos. We never felt any slowness or overheating issues. We are all light to moderate users.

No one should even think of buying  SD888 and SD8G1. There are way too many heating/battery/throttling issues in those.

The choice should either be SD870 or 8G+1 and above. Better go for SD7x series instead of 888/8G1

and for that S21FE, it doesn't make any sense as S23FE is launching in a few weeks.

The S21 FE (Snapdragon) version hasn't gone below Rs 38k. If Flipkart offers it for under Rs 30k it will be a good deal even though the model is 1.5 yrs old when it came out with Exynos. Note that S23 FE is around the corner too and is likely to cost around Rs 45-50k.

The best and most compact Android though a little on the expensive side.

On the corporate website, the 128GB is listed for nearly 69k.
HDFC CC/DC discount will bring it down to 64k.

If you have a decent condition working phone (no broken or malfunctioning screen, missing or cracked body parts - poor battery and minor scratches are fine) then you get a 8k upgrade bonus cashback + an above market value exchange value of the phone. That brings it down to 56k minus the value quoted for your phone.

If you can claim 18% GST (i.e. you run your own business and have a GST ID) then the savings go down even further.

8k additional is limited to some very specific models of each brand.

Also exchange is offered by Cashify, so expect huge drop in price.
