Yesterday  i went to town south mumbai  . Bought gloves  For Rs 75 in retail one piece , if  buy 5 than price  was Rs 60 each , if  buy 10 , price was Rs 50 . The same thing online is available  For Rs 180+   per pc.
Yellow Water sprayer for Rs 30 , online  price  Rs 100+ , Silicone , Bought many things cannot list them all .
You need to know the market and  price  rather than online price only.
If i go to vegetable  market i will get potatoes for Rs 16 in retail, but obviously  seller within my area will charge anywhere between Rs 20  - 35. Now it depends on me how i see the prices. Maybe i will settle down for Rs 20 as a good price ,even though market is at 5 min.walking distance.

People are ok with all types of charges when there pockets  are full

It depends upon items. Mrp items are cheaper with offers online.

Stayfree / whisper / Gillette / toothpaste  you get at cheaper by 30 to 50 % online. Non mrp items are depends - some time these are cheaper in offline.

MRP  is hoax now , to make  themselves  available  online also  , brands give up to demands  of sellers  and mrp  is printed  according to average  online sellers  demand  for it so that they can  play with discounts . Quality is also downgraded to meet their demands for discounts and offers.
Came to know about all this with insiders in the field .

Some things are cheaper online and some things are cheaper offline. Depends upon the things u buy. I always check offline first before purchasing if im not sure.
