Great that u made unboxing video.
In case fk informed that open box delivery is there than u should take advantage of that, if delivery boy refuses that then u have to cancel it.
Ordered Fire boltt Hulk Smart Watch and to my shock a Toy watch worth Rs.100 was delivered in Fire boltt Hulk box. Outer Flipkart box and inner Fire boltt box were intact, the Hulk box contained all the coupons, but the watch is a dummy toy watch. Seller is Retailnet, delivery by Shadowfax. Delivery person said there is no OPENBOX delivery, but I filmed the entire unboxing. Raised issue with Flipkart on that day 19th Jan and informed on their Twitter page too. Other than Sweet talk, nothing was done upto now. Everyday I call the Customer care, they raise a Return request and that ticket is closed automatically next day. Even SM team is of no use. Called them almost 10 times, and 7 tickets were raised which are automatically closed next day.
Seems they are doing this intentionally, upto the time we feel vexed and leave it.

No OPENBOX mentioned on FK page, so can't argue with Courier person

1st sign up here https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/user/sign...hp 2nd sign in here https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/user/ind...hp Then a popup will come read it and click on I agree Then it will do to a menu for selecting option Grievance Registration Form Then I have selected Consumer Grievance . Then a Grievance Registration Form will come . Fill that . Waited and my problem solved 4-5 days maybe not know how many days it will solve for others . Additionally done Twitter complaint also . Email at Flipkart you can do .
I want to insert a youtube meme but don't know how to do it. Also, you're right it's intentionally done by insiders - seller, warehouse staff.
Take out a morcha Flipkart amazon choodo , dukan se nata jodo , than they will learn .
Be prepared for your account blocking by Flipkart. I suggest you to use your gift card added in wallet. Nowadays complaining anything from Flipkart result in account blocking.

Unless the product value is small, unboxing videos aren't of much use these days (Unless you got this shot Infront of delivery executive). There are many people out there doing scams via replacing products / taking out parts or accessories, fake unboxing videos)
You can hope for FK to look at your account history and issue refund as a good-will gesture (Account blocks/restrictions if/when notice misuse) but apart from this there isn't much you/me can do about this
PS: Open-Box delivery available for my pincode (same product). Looks like, these secure deliveries only work with FK's own logistics partner (eKart)

I agree with you on customer's cheating part.
What to do if same happens to a 30k product and FK don't respond!!!

Mine RRX 3090 worth 32750 was not even shipped by any courier, but showing shipped and delivered in FK tracking on 24th Jan 23 (3rd party seller). Customer care saying they have tracking number but dont know which courier partner. Keep giving new deadlines for resolution.

kukdookoo wrote:Too early for this i think (2 weeks?). Proceed with chargeback only if/when the merchant is done with investigation (Seller / Shipment tracking) and is unable to provide any resolution or the chargeback deadline is approaching soon (25/30/days depending on card issuer)
chargeback? @getready

But isn't this ecommerce websites responsibility?

^^ Even with all the Unboxing videos its hard to judge who's at fault (Seller or buyer)
After 21 days, lot of raised issues, daily calling cc, I got replacement watch today.
The actual fireboltt box was wrapped in vacuumed plastic cover, the fake watch one I received didn't have cover wrap and just had two tapes.
