Received used merchandise from Flipkart

Hi guys,

I ordered a Fossil watch worth 3.5k during the Diwali sale. Received the watch today. Outer packaging of the watch looked a little shabby. Took out the watch out from the Fossil box only to realize that the clock is ticking. Usually the new watches will have a plastic thingy to stop it from ticking. Now comes the exciting part. Found a neatly tucked bill in the box with the details of previous owner along with his full Bangalore address. Phone number is missing from the bill or else would have called the owner myself and checked

Anyways, I’m trying to figure out what to do in this situation. How do i figure out if its a retuned product or maybe it was just a cancelled order. is it morally correct on the part of flipkart to pass on a returned item as new?

Guys need your advice on this one before I take Flipkart to task,
