I person was calling me and asking to recharge my sim card which I hadn’t done. Then that person called the jio care and reported that phone has been lost and requested for suspension of services on my number validating the kyc details.
What i feel is that his plan was to get the new sim with my number do tha fraud.
I am very much sure he would have got kyc details via mobid**k data leak
Alert all other guys.

Yes it may happen may be because our kyc document file saved to mobikwik in this format : mobilenumber/aadhar_front.jpg mobilenumber/aadhaar_back.jpg so its too easy for anyone to get kyc detail of any number

To get a replacement sim, you need to visit the physical store
Its not easy to get a replacement sim just like that but it is possible (there were scams in the past)

Nothing like that, few days before i have changed my operator, earlier sim was in the name of my son, they easily issue new sim to me and new sim is also activated.

if you change operator they need only UPC code and you can take sim of new operator here no kyc docs are matched
For sim swap online you have to press 1 to give consent from current no
For offline they require your documents soft copy , recent photo and signature
This sim swap fraud was easily possible 4 years back. Now operators have taken measures to prevent this, But no idea how it is being implemented. I guess both manual and automated facial recognition should be used simultaneously because both are vulnerable to fraud if used individually.

Hello Bro Now A Days Jio Executives Are Calling If Mobile No Not Recharged More Than 3 Months… There Is Secondary Number In Your Jio App Profile… When ever i receive the call i recharge 149rs every 4 to 5 months

Fraudster hacked mobi but trying hard to make fraud but otp system creating problem for him as sim needed to do fraud.

I am getting whatsapp activation opt from last night. The message also has link to directly activate instead of entering otp. Someone is trying to use my whatsapp thinking I will click the link in message.
