I am hoping this thread would serve as a one-stop reference for people looking to reduce their annual charges outgo for ATM cum debit cards. I have seen cases wherein people are having to pay ₹750+ taxes as annual charges for their debit cards. h2. HDFC Bank I got my info from "@bohemian":https://www.desidime.com/users/2...'s post in another thread wherein HDFC customers could opt for a Savings Max account which gives a lifetime free Platinum debit card. h2. SBI Recently I was looking for an option for a free debit card for my SBI account but turned out that none of their account variants offers a free from annual charges debit card. h2. Payment Banks With Payment Banks like Paytm, virtual debit cards are free at present.
