150gb is a lot for a free service from what I know.

Mega.nz. It does require (free) registration. No issue in maxing out your UL/DL bandwidth. Although it randomly imposes daily download limits(reset after 6 hours IIRC). Occasionally as little as a few GBs although mostly I have had no issues downloading 60-80GB in a few hours. These IP based restrictions can be usually bypassed using any free VPN though. Also by splitting the files one can make use of multiple Mega accounts to bypass daily restrictions. On PC JDownloader is an excellent tool to download from Mega. Don’t use the browser interface to download as its kinda flaky. Official Mega desktop tool works well but it imposes IP based daily quota strictly so…
Megabasterd reportedly can bypass the daily limits. I haven’t tried it personally.

Why not buy hard disk and ship it

There are many things to that need consideration
1)Location among you guys ( same country)
2) data confidently ( personal or open)

You guys must be having stable connection and uninterrupted power supply.

I would also see the opportunity to keep my laptop or PC and share the file over network.

Can use software like beyond compare at frnd side so same can be synced..

still wondering as what that 150GB would contain..

text – cant be a case as it will take may be 1000 life to read through..

Software – can be easily downloaded from internet..

Video — unless very personal , other are easily accessible over internet ..
