(solved) freecharge...how to change network operator/ connection time

I have my number on airtel postpaid for quite a long time, and now ported to Jio prepaid. Freecharge app doesn’t let me change the connection type, it always treats it as airtel postpaid, tries to retrieve the bill and eventually says invalid account. I could change the type on web, but on app is what I’m looking for to avail certain deal codes.
Any leads? Thanks in advance!
Update/Edit/Solution: After several attempts, I seem to get a solution. Typed random number, selected the account type, network etc details, and then edited the number to the actual number. And it worked further. It is strange that it doesn’t do in the first place, may be because it is the registered number, not sure where exactly is the problem.

that was going on and it is tough for the feedback to go beyond the frontline nutheads. I’m looking for any solution/feature which I may have missed
Do you type the number of just click on the presaved list?
If later then try typing it manually and then select operator circle
Tried both, result is the same. Even tried clearing the cache.

Contact them on Twitter… the team (https://twitter.com/Freecharg...es) there is very much helpful.

Read my post again, particularly the last part.
Ok I did it and it worked! But the no with correct Operator is not saved, the wrong one is! How weird. We have to do this every time 😒
But kg for your help!
You need to do it couple of times and the machine from freecharge will learn. That’s how machine learning works.
You may try contacting FreeCharge to include the option in their app as well.
