From SBI simplysave to Prime CC

Last year I applied for SBI simplyclick CC, instead I received simplysave. When I enquired about it, the agent gave excuses saying it is good for offline shopping and all. To be honest most of my spending was offline before COVID and for my little online spendings I have Amazon ICICI CC. But since COVID I have mostly moved to cashless and online spending.
Recently I got “flipping” upgrade offer in the app for SBI Prime CC.
Should I do it? What does flipping upgrade mean?
I’m newbie to CC journey, kindly suggest.

Do note that SBI Prime CC has a pretty high annual fee of 3K+gst and also a decently high waiver spend of 3L; so unless you have that much of spends and planning to use this card as primary, better don’t go for it. Also as usual try getting simplyclick version by calling up the customer care.

Yes, simply call customer care and tell them you want simply click credit card.
For me it was issued without hassles.

Flip means Simplysave will be closed and you get Prime card having annual charge of 3000+daku mangal singh tax.

Only take simplyclick, prime is not good anymore even for someone spending 3 lakh+ per year as there are better cards available now for that kind of spending.

Only two cards of sbi are good
1. Simplyclick(7.5% on amazon and 1.5 % on other )
2. Ola sbi (7% on ola cabs )

So I talked to customer care. They said “can’t do anything as of now, just wait if any offer appears for you”. Seems, till then I am stuck with simplysave confused

You can ask illa, In tabs when you tap on “credit score”, “offers for you” appears under the score. Or at the bottom when you tap on “more” ~~→“services”~~→ “upgrade card”.
By the way, I get sms too about limit increase and upgrades.
