Misuse cannot be given as a reason for devaluation. If there is misuse, then loopholes need to be fixed. Also, if you see Amazon gv devaluation was done in the very beginning before any such misuse videos.
Giving high rewards in the beginning is standard formula by any new apps to get good customer base.
