As of now, only 3 banks' credit cards are supported for UPI payments and that too only from BHIM app : Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India & Indian Bank.

Is there any insight on whether other banks will also offer UPI payments from their credit cards? I see many people rushing towards getting PNB RuPay credit card, even if they've RuPay credit cards from SBI, Bank of Baroda etc.

Second and very anticipated question from probably many, will the same feature roll out to other UPI payments app like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm etc?

HDFC bank will soon launch RuPay credit card linked UPI, within a few weeks or months.

Canara bank will also launch RuPay credit card linked UPI.

Axis bank is also interested.

As of now only these 3 banks are interested to launch RuPay credit card linked with UPI.

You should know, all new UPI features start with BHIM UPI app and then other 3rd party UPI apps will launch.

Wait 6 to 8 months, you will see other UPI apps will also launch RuPay credit card linked with UPI feature.

Thanks, exactly what I wanted to hear.

I've BoB RuPay Premier credit card, was hoping to hear Bank of Baroda launching this service soon but I guess being a PSU bank, they should be thinking of it sooner or later.
