Is there any way to get millennia credit card for lifetime free. I have recently opened savings account in HDFC with MAB of 2 lakh for first month, by which the agent told me that the account can be upgraded to classic. I asked the agent for millennia cc, but they told me that I am only eligible for money back plus, and later after 6 months, bank will provide upgrade option to millennia. I declined this offer. Did I do mistake by denying their offer.? Any way to get millennia LTF.

Go to upgrade debit card here you'll be shown 3 options. Select millenia card and it will be delivered within a week

My friend first got money plus then they upgraded within a year. If they are offering any card ltf, just take it HDFC upgrades cards every now and then, especially moneyplus(that card s*cks).

Cc Upgrades in hdfc are never given as LTF ( to the best of my knowledge) unless you have a good TRV with hdfc..

Hdfc gives only paid upgrades..so it's better to wait for 6 months or so and get the Millennia cc as LTF.

Also CLE in hdfc sucks big time.. they MAY give you a mb or mb+ with a limit of around 50k..

So better wait and do some good amount of transactions with hdfc debit card.. which could trigger a better cc offer..

HDFC only allow one debit card per acc unless it is joint acc so if upgrade card to millennia debit card then platinum debit card will be automatically deactivated after 24 hours of new card delivery.

Are you sure existing debit card will not be deactivated after activating new card through upgrade? Please confirm as I don't want to loose existing card.  As per hdfc they mention after 15 days it's deactivated.

Thanks

I've checked in hdfc app that existing card deactivated within 90 days. Is your upgrade crossed 90 days?

Unless it is some rare system bug I don't know how it is possible when the local hdfc branch manager himself told me a few days ago that HDFC bank doesn't issue more than 1 debit card per acc for simultaneous use. See the above post regarding 90 days limit.

@hogbus

We can't have more than a card, I've checked upgrading. Other card got deactivated
