Just search DD for high fat/protein diet. It is ok to have raised Glucose levels for 6 months or so (hba1c level itself is a average of three months).

PS : Diabetes type2 is a SCAM for some extent by medical people

If you dont manage your diabetes properly then only its dangerous.
So you should take it really seriously and manage on your own by lifestyle changes or medication.
And for testing you should do it regularly

Couldn’t resist to comment.

Just find someone who have Diabetes Nephropathy, neuropathy or retinopathy or gangrene of foot to understand the severity of disease before commenting it as scam !!!

Nowadays it is fancy among people to label each & every medical professional as cheater, scam blah blah…

Stop taking sugar with your tea and coffee, cola and foods with too much sugar if you live a sedentary lifestyle.

Diabetes in almost 99% cases is genetic/hereditary. Eating habits do not result in becoming Diabetic, though it worsens for those already suffering from Diabetes. Getting blood sugar level checked casually using a borrowed glucometer will give an indication whether you are in danger zone or not. Genetic/hereditary Diabetes starts appearing after the age of 30. So everyone should get their sugar level / Hb1Ac checked occasionally after that. Those who have their sugar levels normal upto the age of 40, are not likely to have any problems later.

Diabetes type 2 is not a scam. As diabetes type 2 affected patient ages, s/he suffers from retinopathy, nephropathy. It is a super silent killer and it is extremely dangerous.

Diabetes is heredity + lifestyle. A person with hereditary factor can also overcome it by lifestyle management. person without any hereditary history can also become diabetic due to extreme lifestyle.
Having HbA1c tests quarterly gives an idea whether one needs to be cautious in their lifestyle.

There’s a machine in the shape of an otg which gets connected to a phone for results. Have you checked it?

@mas143forever @MSDfan

India is the Diabetes capital of the world. Because of modern lifestyle, cases are increasing rapidly. The disease looks a minor one, shockingly even to the patient!! But in reality it’s a silent killer as it’s complications are very dangerous. One can lose his sight, kidney, limbs & even life……. And regarding prevention, it’s recommended to get it tested every 6 months after the age of 35 years. Simple RBS & HbA1c costs not more than 300 rs in any Govt hospital/research centres (even some do it for free). 500 bucks in a year is not that costly (Yeah! some may argue, but please don’t…). And, regarding COVID would like to add few lines. Most of the people are recovering. But, the disease is recurring in some individuals. Have seen a case, who is unfortunately a doctor pensive. Those who were asymptomatic initially are having some moderate to severe symptoms in second time. They will recover this time too….. But, nobody knows what problems this may pose in future because of lung tissue damage….. I consider this too as a silent poison.
PS: Better safe than sorry.
@mas143forever bro rightly said, everything is scam till it affects personally. pensive

Problem is not your parents, problem is dessert. Your parents also must be eating lots of sugar, that’s the problem.

PS:
We need people with different opinions to run the economy.
I am only trying to help people who are living on month to month paychecks.
But I also expect wealthy people to take utmost care of their health by spending money.
Otherwise, all medical depts will bankrupt next day. Hence I give utmost respect to this class people.

BTW, Scams are NOT ALWAYS bad. If there is no scam, then there is no economic development

What tests

You need to go for ‘’blood sugar test’’ before food and after food in the early morning.
Make sure to keep min12hour empty stomach (zero calorie intake ).

If there is any spike of 110 for pre-food OR 160 for after food.
Never do exercise/walking/yoga. It will alter the readings.
Ex: 60min walk with 5km/hour speed will bring down the above readings.

Then you need to go for hba1c blood test. If this value is >7, then you need to follow certain life style changes.

I might have mentioned in DD already but let me summarize this again.

All Doctors in the world follow American medical associations and FDA.
They define the parameters for diabetes.
To bring more people in the diabetic net, they reduced the pre-blood sugar test reading to 110, so that doctors can advice medications to diabetic patients (but actually they are not patients, just that they need to follow certain life style changes to recover).
This value is going to be reduced to 100 in coming years (may be rumor), so that 40% world population would be forced to use diabetic medicines.

Now you can guess, who would get benefitted, doctors/hospitals/pharma companies/many jobs/many IT projects …….

My results

Test Name Results Units Bio. Ref. Interval
DIABETES PANEL BASIC
(Hexokinase,HPLC, NGSP certified)
Glucose, Fasting 126.00 mg/dL 70.00 – 100.00 HbA1c 5.9 %
Estimated average glucose (eAG) 123 mg/dL
Interpretation
-—————————————————————————————————————— | As per American Diabetes Association (ADA) | |———————————————————————————————————————-| | Reference Group | HbA1c in % | |———————————————-|———————————————————————-| | Non diabetic adults >=18 years| 4.0 – 5.6 | |———————————————-|———————————————————————-| | At risk (Prediabetes) | 5.7 – 6.4 | |———————————————-|———————————————————————-| | Diagnosing Diabetes | >= 6.5 | |———————————————-|———————————————————————-| | Therapeutic goals for glycemic| . Goal of therapy: < 7.0 | | control | . Action suggested: > 8.0 | -——————————————————————————————————————
Note
1. Since HbA1c reflects long term fluctuations in the blood glucose concentration, a diabetic patient who is recently under good control may still have a high concentration of HbA1c. Converse is true for a diabetic previously under good control but now poorly controlled
2. Target goals of < 7.0 % may be beneficial in patients with short duration of diabetes, long life expectancy and no significant cardiovascular disease. In patients with significant complications of diabetes, limited life expectancy or extensive co-morbid conditions, targeting a goal of < 7.0 % may not be appropriate
3. Any condition that shortens erythrocyte survival such as sickle cell disease, pregnancy (second and third trimesters), hemodialysis, recent blood loss or transfusion, or erythropoietin will falsely lower HbA1c results regardless of the assay method
4. In patients with HbA1c level between 7-8%, Glycemark (1,5 Anhydroglucitol) test may be done to identify those with more frequent and extreme hyperglycemic excursions

It’s just your conspiracy theory. Doctor always tells to change the lifestyle else pre diabatic patient can become diabetic. They don’t give medicine if you tell them that you would live a healthier lifestyle. And it is true, if people doesn’t control it sooner or later level increases.
