Unable to apply Axis credit card - getting error code

I have 6-months old Priority Savings account in Axis Bank. Last month, when I checked for pre-approved cc offers on the Axis app, I was able to see an offer for Select credit card (didn’t apply for it as it was paid). But now, I’m not able to see any cards under the same section. Instead I’m getting this error message:

WE’RE SORRY!
It looks like your account is not active or we do not support your account type. Please contact your nearest branch to activate it.
Error Code: MLP-636

My savings account is currently functioning normally, with balance well above AMB, and I have no other existing relationship with Axis. Not sure why I’m getting this message.

Does anyone know what this error code (MLP-636) means?

Same issue.

Tried applying fk axis card on fk website yesterday. After submitting the details, instead of showing option to schedule doc collection and vkyc, it says “It is taking longer than expected time to fetch the response from the bank”.

Might be an issue at the bank’s end.

I’m facing same issue now. It cannot be resolved by Bank side as well. May I know whether it is resolved @mango ?
