you views on animations being allowed, animations being added as the deal image?
Do you prefer using them (as opposed to static PNG, JPEG images)?
As a browsing user, do you find them more catchy (like when you find the horizontal strip/scroll of highlighted deals, below this or any other topic)?
Do you find it an interesting feature? If so, how might YOU chose (or prepare) the animations for a given topic (deal)?
Do you find it distracting (even if catchy)?
Does it annoy you (to find an animation flashing, instead of PNG, SVG, JPEG)?

as per the closing part if your submission, on the face of it, you are not averse to the idea.
however you clearly mentioned that you might not be averse only till it is done to a limited extent.
(which, for now, it a fluid concept.)

actually today being a Friday and date being 13th, I was scanning if there is/are any topic/s on it.
Did not find anything today. I think there are a few by bikidas2060 and others from earlier occasions.
then came across @fridaythe13th having murmured, cribbed about the possibility of adding custom animation in the deal's meta-data.
and i was also noticing these flashing animations while browsing the forums, hence asked.

right now I can find one in hottest deals https://www.desidime.com/deals/loot-amazon-fres...?
may be they are not visible on the app
may be they are good if only say 2 % of the images are GIF
