HAHA. By the way today i contact UPI team and suggest them to find any alternate mode to verify UPI registration on apps. Also told them Airtel, VI increase out sms plan minimum Rs128.

I already suggest them 2 alternate UPI verification mode, first is RCS based SMS and 2nd suggestion is incoming call based verification.

They told me “We can explore this, if security is not the concern BTW Sim binding is not required often”

Other fintech companies founders also support my suggestion, they give me Thumbs Up emoji 👍

Let’s hope they will give any alternate mode to verify UPI registration.
