Bundl Technologies Private Limited and others were getting funded well.
They had more focus and more manpower to deploy. (Amazon simply seemed to drag its feet on this. It felt happier adding tens of thousands of private labels instead, under its marketplace portfolio).
Consolidation like Foodpanda India, Uber Eats India and others folding up.. only made the likes of Zomato, Swiggy re-establish themselves and come out stronger.
Amazon's business in this category, even if they were serious about it in the past, was never in the reckoning (for the top two to feel the heat) I think.
