Does anyone else here have their Google Pixels battery life degraded by half after updating to Android 10?
Any working solution for this?

Previously on Android P I got close to 5hrs of SOT. Now I’m only getting 2.5hrs Screen on Time.

👆 as suggested do a factory reset. I was told by someone to always do factory reset after android version update, it will fix things well.

@still_guessing
Forums are filled with thousands of complaints about battery even after factory resetting.
So, I didn’t do that. Its a hassle.
Even the latest security update did nothing to solve the battery issue.

Yeah. It actually degraded for me a bit going to Pie from Oreo. About 5%-10% or so. But massive thermal throttling/heating and therefore pretty poor battery backup started happening since Android 10 release. Check with accubattery what your battery health is. If it’s below 70% then have the battery replaced. They charge 950 for battery and 900 service charge.
