Facing an error while trying to redeem the recharge code

"We need more info to redeem your gift card."

Raised issue with google but no resolution, how to proceed ?

Same happened to me a while ago while trying to avail the YT premium for 3 months @ 10 rs. Offer. Bought the recharge code from google play store, still the same error. Raised issue, nothing happened. So I forgot about it. 🤷‍♂️
