Got my HDFC diners privilege card. First HDFC CC after multiple failed attempts.

I have been trying to avail a HDFC CC since quite some time, only to face a reject for every application of mine. Not sure what status my account is tagged with but even my savings account request was rejected online sad

Been receiving email regarding Diners Privilege card since last week, tried online only to get a reject message again. So drove down to the branch in which I hold my savings account since 3 months. They made a manual entry and got my application approved for it smile

Annual fees of Rs. 2500 but will be waived off if I enable smartpay and have at least one electricity bill added for auto-pay or can be made LTF if I spend Rs. 1,00,000 in 90 days.

Shall try and spend Rs. 1,00,000 in 90 days and make it LTF. My end goal is infinia but don’t meet the criteria so will start my relation with HDFC CC with this card and eventually target infinia in coming years.

Other cards I hold:

ICICI platinum

ICICI Apay

IndusInd Pinnacle

Slice (if it counts as CC)

Citibank IndianOil (shall close it soon).

2. Not much use. Also, dad owns a Citibank rewards card so I can use it when I need Citi card based offers

I keep receiving exact same message as you posted when I keep applying newly now. So headed over to branch and got the application approved manually.

1. When was the last time you had applied for hdfc cc?
2. Why intend to close Citi Indian oil 🤔

Congratulations on getting the card 🥳🥳

I applied online in October last year for millennia, couldn’t track that application after applying. Followed up with hdfc, they also had no clue. Then applied offline- same thing happened. They gave application number but couldn’t track on their website.

Gave up following in December. Hoping to apply again online.

But it shows me " It looks like you already are an existing HDFC Bank Credit Card user or have recently apply for a new credit card. Hence we will not be able to proceed with your current application "

@raghupro had a similar experience when I had applied directly… later in Dec’21 I got a call from PaisaBazaar one day and they guaranteed that they will get me the Millenia LTF CC. I asked him to give this in writing on email and he did it… he also forwarded their internal communication from HDFC of that LTF offer.

Applied and got the card within 1 week… Got the Diners Millenia LTF without any spend clause/smartpay

Offline acceptance of diners cards is very low. Suggest you call HDFC CC in a month and tell them to replace the card with Regalia or Millennia

either a good relation with bank for several months, at times c2c basis with a card having at least 8 lakh credit limit or monthly take home of 2.75 lakhs.

I was more keen on HDFC for the partner/bank offers they often provide more so than rewards.

By the way, are the rewards that bad for infinia too now?

Indian oil petrol pumps said Citi has stopped & cannot redeem rewards points on fuel directly…
How are u doing it?

make a transaction in Indian Oil bunks for value above 1000 and you will get email and SMS giving you an option to adjust points against it. Minimum 1000 points required

Hi @raghupro query. I hold ICIC Amazon Pay since couple of months now. I also want ICICI platinum like you hold both too.
Reason I want Platinum coz i am given good limit on Apay. So expecting even better limit from Platinum.

Is this expectations good? Possibility?
Hope u don’t have shared limit between both.
What is the difference in limit?
Which is more of these 2?
Which card u got first & which second?

call icici and tell them to give to give you ICICI Makemytrip Platinum card.

They will give instantly, no cibil hit, no verification, issuance fees of 500 and then free for lifetime.

It will share limit with amazon pay card though.
