Got my HDFC diners privilege card. First HDFC CC after multiple failed attempts.

1. When was the last time you had applied for hdfc cc?
2. Why intend to close Citi Indian oil 🤔

I applied online in October last year for millennia, couldn’t track that application after applying. Followed up with hdfc, they also had no clue. Then applied offline- same thing happened. They gave application number but couldn’t track on their website.

Gave up following in December. Hoping to apply again online.

But it shows me  " It looks like you already are an existing HDFC Bank Credit Card user or have recently apply for a new credit card. Hence we will not be able to proceed with your current application "

2. Not much use. Also, dad owns a Citibank rewards card so I can use it when I need Citi card based offers

I keep receiving exact same message as you posted when I keep applying newly now. So headed over to branch and got the application approved manually.

How long did offline branch process took, is it under process or approved instantly?

And income docs, they insist on salary slips or willing to adjust with savings account transaction and other card statements?
I opened savings account in November.

It hardly took a few mins. They asked for my account’s customer ID, checked something and said I can get Regalia with 3 lakhs limit. I said I wasn’t keen on it and am looking for at least a diners privilege and showed the email that I had received. He check again and said I can get it. 

Got a form for my signature and asked if all other details are as per my savings account to which I confirmed. That’s it. The whole process barely took 10 minutes.

Great support from your branch, here they make me read rules .

Right now, two much action in my credit report.
Got Citi and standard chartered, both in last week of January.
So, less chances of approval if i go now. Will still give it a shot and update here.

They asked for my customer ID, checked and said not eligible for any cards now. Asked to check next month as account is new (opened in November)

Regalia and diners privilege is of same level

Do u have RM ? If yes ,they can trigger the application from their end even if u r getting this error msg..

I have normal 10k mab account.

First time i visited a branch, one counter guy gave me his business card..

I don’t think 10k kab account gets RM..if yes, then how to check who’s mine?

@raghupro had a similar experience when I had applied directly… later in Dec’21 I got a call from PaisaBazaar one day and they guaranteed that they will get me the Millenia LTF CC. I asked him to give this in writing on email and he did it… he also forwarded their internal communication from HDFC of that LTF offer.

Applied and got the card within 1 week… Got the Diners Millenia LTF without any spend clause/smartpay 

Offline acceptance of diners cards is very low. Suggest you call HDFC CC in a month and tell them to replace the card with Regalia or Millennia

free memberships from BBStar, mmt black, Zomato pro, Amazon prime, times prime. Free golf sessions each quarter etc. 

apart from that, the rewards structure seems to be the same.

either a good relation with bank for several months, at times c2c basis with a card having at least 8 lakh credit limit or monthly take home of 2.75 lakhs.

Where does Diners Millenia sit in their offerings? I don’t see it on their website?

What limit you got? What is the max limmit of your card other than hdfc!

Infinia has bit of life yet but daily limit kills
DCB is dead card now with so much feesSo many ifs and buts for RP horrible thing while we pay thousands as fee

Honestly, I am not even sure who my RM is at brach but the I approached the same lady that helped me open my savings max account 3 months ago.

How are u redeeming rewards points on it?

Indian oil petrol pumps said Citi has stopped & cannot redeem rewards points on fuel directly…
How are u doing it?
