Depends on the profile and credit history, mine got approved with just video kyc within 2 days...
For applying, either u go through referral or direct, choice is urs, if u applying without referral then visit sprint website of sbi cards, fill ur details, and either u will get offline kyc or online kyc option, it will take time for the kyc but after kyc , it will speed up (atleast done in my case, not sure abt everybody)...
