Good to see such rumour mongering and/or fake (planted?) stories.‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏

Even a hungry 5 month old baby is less confused in a topless bar

than the bureaucrats and lawmakers serving ruling India presently are, when it comes to public policy, foreign policy,  any policy.

One day they want to declare cryptocurrencies illegal, next day they want to legalise it and tax it, and then also contemplate having their own crypto wallets launched.‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎

Likewise to please both sides, the big corporates, VC funded startups versus the trader lobby

one day they give soundbytes to please one side

next day they give contradictory soundbytes to please the other side.‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏

In reality, nothing much is done.

Likewise in this case also, i am half guessing that it will all fizzle out.

‏‏‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏

We asked some people from three newswires who were regularly folliwing up with the Flipkart/Amazon story.. or wherever those imbeciles bought hazchem from.. i  the acod attack incident on the poor girl.

‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏

Off what we came to know from those people (in the newswire agencies) is that, the big marketplaces did not gave to pay any penalties as of now.

Meaning? Just an 'oops sorry' and a 'pinky promise' of beimg more careful henceforth?

Some fake changes in SOPs, on paper, are enough to convince the governments.

(Any government. I am not favouring the ones before this one).‏

It's not rumour mongering. India Today/Aaj tak group is one of the official spokesperson of the present government owned/controlled by croney capitalist of our country. No present day media is independent and cannot dare to spread rumour without Govt consent.

Even if it's a rumour, it must have been approved by the Govt for circulation for its indirect benefit.

Ecommerce sites are already causing a huge dent in the petty traders/businessmen who are a very strong vote bank of the present Govt

The post appears to be a commentary on the state of affairs in India, specifically related to the confusion and inconsistency in the government's policies and decision-making. The author uses strong language to express their frustration with the government's handling of various issues, including public policy, foreign policy, and cryptocurrency regulations.

The post also references a recent incident involving a hazardous chemical attack on a girl and suggests that the big marketplaces responsible for selling the chemical were not penalized adequately for their role in the incident. The author expresses skepticism about the effectiveness of the government's measures to address the issue, suggesting that they may be merely cosmetic changes on paper.

Overall, the post criticizes the government's lack of clarity and coherence in its decision-making and suggests that there is little accountability for those responsible for harmful incidents.

Now this Government is starting to look a lot like other autocratic dictators whose names I won't take. Banning is not the solution to anything. I am still angry about AliExpress being banned. Also how they are helping with planned obsolescence by allowing banking apps to demand a new Android/new phone to run if older one can't be updated.

Not possible or will not happen. Companies have various ways to deal with these. Local groceries and medicine shops want to loot customers without giving discounts and sub par quality products with limited options. Govt may come up with some rules and regulations but full closure not going to happen.
