GPAY error [Resolved]

I am getting this error when trying to make any transaction
“Please exit any apps that might be drawing over the screen and try again”.
I am using google pay on this device for quite a long time but the error showed up today only. I tried clearing cache, reinstalling the app, removing access to display over other apps for all apps but it didn’t work.
Did anyone here faced such issue and/or does anyone know how to resolve it?
No. I am not using any such app. I also tried disabling permission of display over other apps to all the apps but it doesn’t help
What is the right way?
I also got thus issue but got resolved after disabling permission to couple of apps for drawing over screen.

Stop for all non google ones and then check.
Ha, this one was my issue too until i know the reason for this, error gone when i draw down the keyboard.
Try hibernate apps by Greenify [user apps]
Yup, same thing happened after I updated GPay from Play Store yesterday.
I’m using Poco device.
And I’m sure it’s due to update.
But then it does work for a min after I restart my phone.
Fortunately I was able to find the solution…it was posted by someone on youtube today few hours back 
I just disabled “quick ball” option on my redmi note 5 pro and it worked. Now error message of app drawing over the screen is gone
But…But….But 
It looks like I goofed up with some permission settings of other apps and I am not able to reactivate bank account in GPay. The SMS delivery for SIM verification is failing. Any help guys

All permissions of google pay and messaging app are enabled. Google pay is receiving otp message for mobile no. verification but not sending message for bank account linking.
Why i am getting this error on google pay please exit any apps that might be drawing over the screen and try again…i removed all apps while using gpay, tried to off and in my cellphone tried uninstalling gpay app but this error is not moving. Please give any resolution to rid off this problem
Go through this thread, you may find some working tips like disabling permission to apps to display over other apps.
On my note5 pro, it worked by disabling quick ball.
However the error appeared today on my another mobile (note 8) and quick ball thing is not working on it. It is very difficult and annoying finding out what exactly is causing the problem.
By the way, which mobile are you using?
Same problem started yesterday on my poco f1. Reached here searching for answers… Nothing for for me too… Then I saw someone mention about hide notch… I disabled it and it worked ….. I just joined this site just to reply this once 😂

This quick ball solution worked for me as well so the solution can be tagged for all MI and poco users.
I am getting the same error for 2 days. I have a Poco F1. I do not have Quick Ball. Not sure how the Hide Notch works. I disabled ap permissions for all apps. But still, it doesn’t work. I tried installing just GPay on a fresh seccond Space, even then it didn’t help. Any further suggestions.
Use old version of Gpay.
I am. Poco F1 User and fasing same issue from last 2 days.
Tried almost every solution.
Then I found one comment hide notch went straight to settings search for notch set it on "
Hide and move status bar" it worked.

My issue on Poco F1 just got resolved on the latest version of GPay by hiding the notch. Thanks team!
FYI.. I couldn’t find the Hide Notch option under Display settings. I had to search for “Hide Notch” from the “Search Bar” under Settings.
Right Now I’m facing the same issue, anyone here to help?
Just go into setting →search for notch settings→off the notch setting. (For example:- don’t hide).

I too faced this issue. After disabling the quickball option in my redmi phone, issue was resolved. U guys can also check on this.
Yes, different solution for different device.. If you can’t find any solution working like quick ball, hide notch etc then better to find older version of gpay and disable automatic update.
Google pay is not work
Guys, I have been using gpay for years now, suddenly started facing the error, even I do have quickball enabled too, gpay was working absolutely fine. After reading this blog, I have disabled the quickball and the error is gone. Appreciate guys for updating the forum.

Search in settings(type quick ball in search bar at the top of settings page, similar option is there in all phones nowadays), quick ball is there for all redmi phones.
Are you using some hide notch or similar app?
Go to special apps access settings and check for allowed apps under display over other apps.
