GST Council mulling 28% tax on Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies

It should be at least 100%, still too cheap.

GOI is considering bringing crypto currency under GST which may attract additional 28% tax. If imposed crypto seller will have to pay 30% tax + 28% GST + 1% TDS out of their profit. Do share your thoughts on this.
