Entry age – 91 days – no upper age limit.
Minimum SA – 5 Lakhs
Maximum SA – 40 lakh.
Waiting period – 4 years for pre-existing conditions
Sum insured would be restated if exhausted during the year.
Free health check-ups every year for all members of the family.
No claim bonus to increase 10% sum insured every year (up to 50% in 5 years)

Co-payment of 20% if the insured person is more than 61 years of age.
No co-payment for any claim to be made.
No sub-limits on room rents.

4) Star Family Optima

Entry age – 16 days – 65 years.
Minimum SA – 3 Lakhs
Maximum SA – 25 lakh.
Waiting period – 4 years for pre-existing conditions
Pre hospitalization – 60 days before hospitalization.
Post hospitalization – up to 90 days.
No co-payment for age below 60
20% co-payment for age above 60
Sub-limit for room rent – upto Rs 5,000 per day
